Frannie Uncensored

Season 1, Episode 1: My first standup guest, Miami comedian James Sahni

This is my first Comedy Fran episode in which I explore standup comedy! My first guest is a very funny comedian from the Miami area, James Sahni. He has had a lifetime love for standup comedy & has been pursuing his passion of doing standup comedy himself.

Check out: Gold Coast Comedy Troupe, comedian Nick Macik, Bert Kreischer, Tradition Tattoo, the Coop, Lando Gonzalez (@Landodoesstandup ), James Alpine Comedy

James discusses his comedy influences, his standup routine, writing process, and the hopping Miami-area comedy scene. Miami audiences are more heckler-prone and livelier than the typical quietly polite Seattle audience but full of heart. He's part of a comedy troupe, Gold Coast Comedy Troupe which performs comedy in many different venues.

Frannie had a great time talking to James & he gave her some helpful encouragement prior to her first open mic. She shares her first open mic 🎤 on the podcast.

Joseph from the Horror Throwdown Podcast Fraser Edition was supposed to come on to discuss how Brendan's Looney Tunes Back in Action (2003) character would fare against Leatherface from the (2003) remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (starring Jessica Biel). Joseph couldn't make it so you're getting a Fran solo (shout out to Verbal Garbage podcast's Frank!)

• Looney Tunes Back In Action is a horrible movie. I do not recommend
• Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake is a highly entertaining movie with strong anti-bullying messages. Although going after people with a chainsaw isn't the way to deal with bullying
• Frannie discusses her goals & news

End of the Podcast: Frannie turned from Happy Fangirl to Disgruntled Fangirl and Doesn't Like Fandoms anymore

• The title pretty much sums it up. Frannie doesn't want to be a fangirl anymore. She thinks fandoms suck now. She likes horror movies and standup comedy now.
• Coming soon is her new podcast: Comedy Fran in which she interviews standup comedians and also discusses her new foray into the fun of Standup comedy
• Frannie wishes the best of luck to Steph and Jaz. They've decided not to pursue the podcast on their own
• There will be a final guest episode with the Horror Throwdown podcast for a crossover between (2003) Looney Tunes Back in Action and the (2003) Remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre
