The person I thought I married... was never real.

The person I did marry?

A charmer, manipulator, liar, cheater, snake, con artist and sympathy seeker by use of others character or illness.

It took me a long time, with counseling, to make peace with the truth. I married a fictional character. That person was only real for a mere... 1 year.

One would think, however...

If you had a kid, CHANGE for THEM!. Yes, it's that easy👏

Don't be an enabler.

What is an enabler?

It is someone who, often unknowingly, supports or encourages unhealthy or destructive behaviors in another person.

They do this by making excuses for the person, covering up their actions, or shielding them from the consequences of their behavior.

Essentially, enablers are allowing the other person to avoid taking responsibility for their actions and potentially experiencing the natural consequences of their behavior.

Research has taught us much about parental alienation, a phenomenon where parents choose a favorite son or daughter, while alienating the other.

This sometimes is the scenario of a narcissistic daughter who withholds and turns their own children from siblings. The grandparents are then fearful of the same narcissistic adult son or daughter also withholding access to now, grandchildren.

An overwhelming amount of studies emphasize the detrimental effects of parental alienation on the son and daughters overall well-being.

The parent-son/daughter  relationship.
