Influencer, actor, writer, director, Landon Moss was born in Alaska and now lives in LA.  The trajectory of his life changed when he left Coastal Carolina and leaving his full ride football scholarship to pursue his dreams in entertainment.  Moss is known for his comedy skits on Vine and his various collaborations.  Following graduation from film school, the sky is the limit.  After the racial unrest and in his search for meaning he and his big sister Lauren launched a podcast called Southern Mosspitality.  Not only is Landon Moss all of that he is also my godson.

She admonishes us that we must not be afraid to allow things to change and just as slavery had negative effects on us, white supremacy has had negative effects on white people.  Lastly, she shares that we must forgive to live from a whole space otherwise it leaves a hole in your heart.

Listen in as we go from Black Power of the 70s to Black Lives Matter of 2020 as Mrs. Barbara Sorey-Love, self proclaimed historian of her family, shares the importance of remembering our history and the stories passed down from generations.  She also mentions some other subtle racist words and off hand comments and the importance of having loving parents which helped her to combat the hate of racism.   

She shares the resurgence of racism in 2020 being played out with the lost cemeteries and how modern buildings and construction were built on top of them and what is being doing now.

An eye opening moment in the episode was when I was moved to compassion and nearly tears as Barbara described how Donald Trump was treated as a child and the trauma that he suffered.  And we need to pray for the reporters and media on the front line.
