A lot of us are re-evaluating our routines at the moment. I tend to give my routine a tweak or even a total reset as the seasons change, and for lots of us, living through a pandemic has prompted us to reevaluate and reset our routines.
Having a routine helps us save time AND mental energy. But also, at times like these, having a routine can help us feel that sense of normal that we’re all craving. So, now is a better time than ever to give your routine a dust-down and a reset.

This episode probably couldn’t have come at a better time seeing as alot of us are working from home at the moment (sponsored by coronavirus of course). This week I’m chatting with Jo Hooper of Mad and Sad club all about looking after your mental health when you’re self-employed. We talk a lot about boundaries - how to set and stick by them, creating routines to help you make the most of your mental energy each day and detaching your self-worth from the results in your business.

Emmeline has such a refreshing approach to branding that I think we can all get on board with. It’s all about ditching the ‘rules’ and embracing our intuitions as a guide. We also delved into a subject I’m curious about and that Emmeline is truly passionate about - using the moon’s phases in your planning and living / running your business by the moon’s cycle.

Comparing ourselves to others is something we all naturally do throughout our lives, but it’s particularly rife when it comes to building a business. It’s something that’s come up for me numerous time and it also pops up in a lot of my conversations with creative business owners, so I was really excited to talk to Lucy Sheridan - the worlds first and only comparison coach.

Therese has years of experience in wholesaling products, from gifts, to books, to handmade soaps. She’s now turned her hand to helping small, creative businesses get into wholesaling their products.
