I remember having a conversation with someone, and they stated someone else wasn’t “normal.” I proceeded to ask them what “normal” meant or what it looked like, because there is no such thing.

Everyday we all fight battles that many will never know or see. Some have to deal with skin diseases, health conditions, mental disorders or disabilities, and eating disorders to name a few.

Just because someone is dressed nicely, has a fancy car, is at the top of their class- doesn’t make them perfect! It doesn’t mean their life is perfect either!

People fight demons every day, whether to overcome trauma or addiction. We don’t all wear our problems, fears or insecurities, but it doesn’t mean we don’t have them. Some just continue to use the pressures of life to create diamonds. I’ve seen people dying of cancer who are happier than those who are fully healthy. Don’t take life for granted. Don’t take people for granted. Don’t take being kind and receiving kindness for granted. We are all fighting. I just hope you know how strong and beautiful you are. I love you and all yours flaws. The constant battle of living true to yourself or for your family’s sake, is one that truly tears us apart on the inside.
