Hey art friend, so today’s topic is one that might be somewhat of a sore subject for many artpreneurs, and that is bad reviews.

No one wants to get a negative review, but the truth is, the bigger your business becomes and the greater your reach, the more reviews you’ll get in general, and more than likely some of those will be one star reviews.

We all want to please our customers and make sure they have the best experience possible, but sometimes things are out of our control and customers can take that out on you.

If you want to grow your business full-time and be successful at this, it’s pretty much inevitable.

I know that sounds scary, especially if right now you have all five star reviews, but honestly if you have all five star reviews, your reach is not nearly big enough, and I say this because when you get to the point where you’re making hundreds of sales a day, and you have a big audience, again those bad reviews are inevitable.

Think about it. All of those huge stores like Sephora, Target, they all have one star reviews on some of their products.

There are no successful businesses out there that don’t have one star reviews, and if you want to be a successful business owner, this episode will help you embrace the inevitable and deal with them in stride.

I’m really excited about today’s episode because I'll be revisiting my manifestation goals from last year.

These were six business and lifestyle goals that at the time I wanted to achieve, which I shared in episode 13 from May of last year, so take a listen to episode 13 if you haven’t already to get even more context about my goals, why I wanted to achieve them and where I was back then.

You’ll also be able to set similar goals for yourself that you can measure your progress on a year later.

Some of these goals are financial goals, and others are goals related to the lifestyle that I want my business to support.

In this episode, I’m going to go through each of my six goals and share how far along I’ve come in a year and if I was able to achieve them, how I reached them and how long it took me to.

As an artpreneur, it’s super important not only to set goals for your business, but you also want to set realistic goals that are measurable and that you can look back at later and see how far you’ve come in your journey.

If you’re just starting out on your artpreneur journey and you have a dream of having a business and growing it full time, I really hope this episode helps inspire you and helps show you that your goals are achievable, and even though it might not happen right away, when you put in the work over time, you’ll also be able to look back a year later and see how far you’ve come.

Remember, it’s not enough to dream, you have to put in the work, stay on top of trends, upload the listings, promote your art to the right audience, to get those sales rolling in.
