Ives is the author of "Public Parks, Private Gardens: From Paris to Provence," and the co-curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibition of the same title. The show looks at how developments in landscape design, horticulture and the opening of royal property focused (mostly) 19thC French artists on parks and gardens.
