‘Let’s put the play in radio play.’ That’s been the unofficial motto of KZMU station manager Serah Mead as she created the concept for this year’s Radio Play Festival. It’s something new the station is trying for its 30th anniversary. Today on the news, we learn more about this effort to increase accessibility to the fun, quirky and artistic medium of radio.
