It’s clear that Margaret Hopkin’s influence reached all corners of the Moab community as a beloved teacher and administrator at Grand County School District. After Hopkin passed away in December, a community-wide effort sprang up to recognize her impact. Today on the news, in honor of the newly named ‘Margaret L. Hopkin’ Middle School, we hear some archival audio. KZMU’s Christy Williams Dunton spoke with Hopkin in 2007 as she transitioned into her new role as superintendent of schools.
