Organizers of the first annual Red Sand Powwow, slated for mid-September in Moab, say they aim to foster healing and unity through traditional dance and community gathering. SLC Air Protectors, a Native-American led organization that raises awareness about ongoing environmental crises in Utah, is collaborating with local nonprofit Full Circle Intertribal Center on the event.
