September 27 FNL – and it’s a flurry of Kylie songs
It’s Grand Final weekend and St Susan is working on her double day off – a public holiday in school holidays.
Let’s hope she’s not named after St Susan of Rome. That ended badly. (Spoiler: head chopping involved.)
Meanwhile, David the SuperStar works on his days off all the time – every day is a holiday when you’re retired!
If you’re not a Kylie fan, this show might not be for you. Or … you could become a convert.
It’s not “the greatest hits”. Rather, lots of great but rarely played songs from Kylie’s huge catalogue. Give them a try.

Plus … a memory from your podcaster … Watching then Victorian Premier John Brumby turning bright red as Olivia Newton-John, unaccompanied, serenaded him with I Honestly Love You, when they were both making a site visit to the Austin Hospital. They were there to inspect the building progress of the Olivia-Newton John Cancer and Wellness Centre to which Olivia gave her name and for which she raised mega-bucks. Both laughter and tears on that occasion and during this show at the memory.

Sue is back … not because she’s better. And not because she was missing David! Ha Ha 🙂
Sue didn’t want to miss out on celebrating 50 years of Blue Light Disco!
She has great memories of Doora Disco in her youth.
David not so much – he’s so old he took his nephews to their local Blue Light events.
But lots of listeners are like Sue – remembering those Blue Light Disco days – or nights!
