The President seems to be approaching the trade talks with Mr Juncker in a positive light, whilst tweeting further thinly veiled threats against China. Early reports indicate Europe has gioven some ground. Phil Dobbie asks NAB’s David de Garis whether its just another Trump tactic – playing one trade foe against another? Whatever, shares continue to rise, but for how long? And what’s happening to Australian inflation – a temporary falter or the start of a softening trend?
