God legitimized and authorized Ezekiel. Likewise, we are authorized by God to be his children and to reach others. Our authority comes from God through Jesus.

We tend to want to rescue people by trying to make them feel better. Jesus has a better plan to rescue people. We're the way God has most expressly chosen to speak his truth of rescue.

God prepared Ezekiel for a major task. He also prepares us. God doesn't call us to perform, he calls us to trust in, and partner with, him. In this call, he prepares us and provides for us.

God loved the world in this way: He sent is only Son. We are to love others like He loved us.

Is there a way that God wants to train, equip, and resource you to be a disciple to which you're not responding?

We have an opportunity to be and do what Jesus called us to be and do, as individuals and as a church.
