Episode 38 brings you the fall-out from one of the biggest days of the year in hockey: July 1. Mike and John go through what has been an exciting, emotional and eye-opening week thanks to the fans, media and Habs General Manager, Marc Bergevin. The team said goodbye to a few old faces, welcomed a few new ones, and, a rare, heavily front-loaded offer sheet was presented by Mr. Bergevin to Carolina Hurricanes star Sebastian Aho. The guys also discuss many of the newly signed free agents from around the league and give their takes on what could be next for the the bleu, blanc, rouge! 

In Episode 37, Mike and John got back into the thick of things with an overview of the wild NHL Entry Draft weekend which saw the Habs draft Cole Caufield - billed as the best natural goal scorer in the draft. Former Hab P.K. Subban is on the move, the discussion of whether or not GM Marc Bergevin should try to sign a free agent to address the very few voids on the roster, and, touched on the harsh reality of the cap era. They capped off the episode with very special guest, Mr. Luc Gelinas. Luc spoiled the guys with some great insight into the Habs and unforgettable stories.

This week, Mike went one-on-one with the Montreal Canadiens first-overall pick in the 1995 NHL draft, Terry Ryan. He's a legend in the game of hockey and one of the smartest and out-spoken guys to ever lace them up who shared some unbelievable stories that you'll only find here. His story in hockey, his roller-coaster time with Montreal, what going through CTE was really like for him, how dirty Vincent Damphousse really was, quite a few crazy Michel Therrien stories, and much more in this very memorable epsiode. 

This week, the guys had the pleasure of chatting with the feel-good story of the year with the Laval Rocket, goaltender Connor LaCouvee. Connor talked about his college days, the unforgettable moment he was thrust into the Montreal/Laval market, what Joel Bouchard is like and what he hopes the immediate future holds. The guys touched on some topical points like the latest trade rumours swirling around Habs nation and their excitement for the upcoming off-season craziness. They also blew off a bit of steam involving the media; you know, just another week night. 

This week, the guys were joined by Stanley Cup winner, Olympic athlete and 28th captain of the Montreal Canadiens; Mr. Brian Gionta. Brian talked about his time with the Devils, the indescribable feeling of winning the Cup and what it meant to him to play for the most storied franchise in hockey. The guys also gave their thoughts on the Erik Karlsson rumours and the media’s unhelpful reaction.
