Fi: Pehmeä talvitoukokuu jätti Laajalahden hiljaisen esikaupungin voimaan vähäisen lumen alla.
En: The gentle winter May left the silent suburb of Laajalahti barely covered under a light dusting of snow.

Fi: Talojen katot ja pihat olivat kevyesti kuorrutettuja, ja ilma oli raikkaan kylmä.
En: The roofs and yards of the houses were lightly frosted, and the air was refreshingly cold.

Fi: Eeron nenä punoitti hieman pakkasessa hänen seistessään kadun reunalla.
En: Eero's nose was slightly red from the frost as he stood by the side of the street.
