Fi: Helsingissä oli talvinen iltapäivä, ja lunta satoi hiljaa suuren ikkunan ulkopuolella.
En: It was a wintery afternoon in Helsinki, and snow was quietly falling outside the large window.

Fi: Kahvila oli puolillaan ihmisiä, jotka etsivät suojaa kylmää vastaan kupin kuuman kahvin äärellä.
En: The café was half-full with people seeking shelter from the cold over a cup of hot coffee.

Fi: Timo istui nurkkapöydässä, tuijottaen vaahtovirtoja maitokahvissaan.
En: Timo sat at a corner table, staring at the streams of foam in his latte.
