  • Dealing with Demons: Identity Crisis

    Message 11 of 30

Whether we realize it or not, identity plays a powerful role in our lives. It's where we find our purpose and meaning--or lack thereof.

What's your source of identity? Who are you? How do you know?

  • Forgiveness: It’s Not OK

    Message 8 of 30

One of the best ways to keep anger from turning into bitterness is to grant forgiveness. Many of us struggle to do that because we think forgiveness is something that it's not.

This message helps us understand forgiveness in a way that will lead to more peace.

  • The Air Force Doesn’t Go On Strike

    Message 4 of 30

The Air Force is full of men and women who spend more time on their responsibilities than their rights. We don't have the privilege of "striking" from our responsibility.

Are you equally responsible in the other areas of your life?

What are the "blind spots" where you may be tempted to make excuses rather than step up to the plate?

  • There is No Magic How

    Message 3 of 30

In my observation, the phrase "I don't know how" is often a crutch we use when we're not ready to do the hard work required to grow or learn something new.

I challenge you to stop letting "I don't know how" get in the way of becoming a better version of you.

  • Enlisted Stress

    Message 2 of 30

According to a recent Forbes report, enlisted military members have one of the most stressful jobs in the country.

However, most of them are so competent and professional, it's easy for them to underestimate the toll military life can have.

For that reason, I regularly encourage them to "ask your buddy how he's doing--especially the "strong ones." Ask multiple times if you have to. There are far worse things than being nosey.
