"From the Frontlines" is an ADL podcast. It is hosted by ADL New York/New Jersey Director Scott Richman and focuses on ADL's efforts to fight antisemitism and all forms of hate in the United States and around the world. In this battle, fighting extremists is a key component. ADL’s Center on Extremism uses many tools to wage this battle, as has been lifted up many times on this podcast. But, there are other ways to fight extremists, including through ADL’s International Affairs, Advocacy and Civil Rights work. In this regard, ADL has recently made a very important hire with a woman named Farah Pandith. She is an adjunct senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, foreign policy strategist, and former diplomat, as well as a pioneer in the field of countering violent extremism. She worked for the George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama administrations and left government in early 2014 for Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Her story and what she is doing at ADL are the subject of today’s show. For more information on ADL's battle against extremism, visit https://www.adl.org/what-we-do/combat-extremism. This podcast originally aired as a radio show on March 21, 2023 on WVOX 1460 AM.
