From the Middle

#039. Some more fun discussion covering an array of stories, movies, tv shows, and video games, with a couple of middlers chiming in. We have some new gear, Dillon accidently watched a movie and didn't accept hassle from kids playing Mario Kart, and Kory slept in a treehouse and watched Joker.  We also touch on The Clone Wars' new season. For you middle-aged and older folks, one middler is wondering if getting back into video games is like riding a bike and shares his experience.  A lot of fun in this one!

#038. In this one, we updated our conversation about being grown men getting back into pro wrestling, which leads us into a discussion of the revamped XFL. In this one, we open with some updates concerning everyone's favorite parrot, Kory's experience at an immaculate middle school for his daughter's basketball game, and Dillon's nostalgic moment with comedian Kevin James. Then we dive into the Super Bowl sharing our thoughts on the game but more importantly, the commercials, which leads us to phone a friend who had a couple good Bill Murray stories. Then we end by diving into the fire and fury of the halftime show cultural discussion. We discuss some Middler thoughts concerning everything from Instant Pots to possible cultural trends which may have escaped us in the past.  And Jeremy delivers some stories and viewpoints in ways only he can.

After quickly (and we use that term loosely) sharing our holiday stories, we spend the bulk of our discussion reminding ourselves of the moments and trends that made 2019...uh...what it was. We also try to decipher the newest slang.  Kids say the darndest things.  Sksksksk. See? We still hip. Low-key hip. So fill up your hydro flask and kick off your dad shoes.
