From the Middle

#048. This was our first LIVE experience! If you missed our FB Live recording session on Star Wars Day, here it is! We discuss Star Wars (obviously), but also hit questions and comments as they came in from The Middlers! #047. In this episode, we touch on some of the things the quarantine season has taught us about ourselves and we discuss how we're looking forward to walking out of this mess. One of the things we've learned is Animal Crossing is a game that's...fun? Who knows. All we know is a bunch of people, including some of us, are playing it and we ask why. #044. We discuss our unpopular opinions, something we have absolutely never done before on this podcast! The quarantine story arc continues as we discover some things about ourselves.  Turns out The Marvel Universe isn’t much to marvel over for one Hubbell and one Eilola, Harry Potter just doesn’t make the grade for another Hubbell, and maybe we could do away with LEGO all together. You know what’s better than all three of those forms of entertainment? Frasier. Let your hair out, put on your aloe-infused cozy socks, and stay in with us.  And with some extra home time on your hands, like and subscribe to our stuff and send us your thoughts from the middle!  We’d even take your top and bottom thoughts if you have any. Maybe leave the left and right ones between you and the cat.

From our individual homes, we joined together via video chat and managed to record something for the archives! From how our daily lives have changed to what it was like to internationally travel in the face of a travel ban, we share our lives with you all. We hope we share in a way that doesn't make fun of a tough reality, but points out some of things we can laugh at or otherwise enjoy.  There's silver linings all over the place, friends!

#042. Amidst all the intensity, confusion, and weight of what the world is experiencing during the COVID-19 outbreak, we at From the Middle hope to be a source of joy and fun during an otherwise scary time.  This episode was recorded a couple weeks before stuff hit the fan here in the states, so while we don't mention it in the episode, please know our hearts and prayers go out to all of you. Let's be helpers and citizens who care for eachother.  
In this episode, we polish off The Middies, giving our awards for the best of the 2010s  Within, we also hit on some source material for Sunday morning liturgy (Kendall being a worship leader and all) and we end with Kory sharing the highs and (mostly) lows of his deer hunting season. All of this peppered with the goofiness of our idiot selves. Enjoy!

#041. The 2010s are over! And as award season has come to a close, we polish them off with our personal "Best of the 2010s!" We each tag what we think to be our favorite movie, album, artist, and YouTube channel of the decade.  Before doing so, we make sure to rant and complain about a couple things.
