Stephen Jenkinson is an activist, teacher, author, social worker, farmer, and founder of the Orphan Wisdom School . Timothy Egan is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author of nine books including The Big Burn, Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher, The Immortal Irishman, and The Worst Hard Time , which won the 2006 National Book Award for non-fiction.
