The last time Grant went to see a play was when he was 12 and it was The Nutcracker so he's a terrible person to provide opinion on theater but seriously will broadway make a comeback post covid? How about movie theaters? Isn't watching movies at home so much cheaper anyway? Grant and I discuss the future of entertainment. Today's artist for Judgement Zone is from Germany and Grant was generous again with his score. As always we share some things we're salty about at the end with Salt Segment.
Seriously, there are way too many ways to communicate in 2020. Grant and I just named over 10 in less than 30 seconds. Between all of the possible ways you could talk to another human being nowadays how much do you have to customize it by age? If you have younger siblings for example there's no way you reach out to them the same way you reach out to your parents right? Grant and I discuss and I think we want to go back to landlines... any way " Judgement Zone" artist of the day is international and Grant finally comes to grip with his generous scoring. The salt segment on today's episode is extra salty so bring some water!
What are some things that do not need to make a comeback once quarantine is over? Grant and I compile a small list of some things we feel should just disappear from society. Are we wrong? are we missing some things? feel free to let us know via our instagram or Twitter. Of course we give a random artist a listen and then judge the hell out of them on our new segment Judgement Zone. As always Salt Segment is hilarious.
We pay our respects and send prayers and thoughts to George Floyd and his family. In order not to have the saddest episode ever we also transition to relationships specifically sharing showers. We are built different. New segment "Judgement Zone" is getting some traction. As always we leave you with our salt segment although I think Grant threw in a sneak shot at me in his salt segment...listen and tell me if I'm trippin.
Of course Florida reopened bars and restaurants so our own Grant Reever was out and about and he will tell us all about it. Find out what item is permanently missing from Bars now lol. Also our new segment "Judgement Zone" is catching fire - this where we find a random artist under some comments on twitter/Insta/Youtube begging people to listen to their music. So we listen and judge it accordingly... today's artist took Grant and I by surprise. Salt Segment is extra salty today.
The new normal is actually what this podcast is about but Jon telling us he ran out of toilet was so random we had no choice but to name it accordingly. Jon Meadows joins the podcast in this week's episode and we discuss what is this "new normal" and how millennials will react to it. *New segment alert* From1millennial Judgment Zone - in this segment we listen to 45 seconds of some random artist we found under instagram comments saying "check out my music" so we check it out and judge them harshly. As always Salt Segment brings the laughs and Grant is as random as always smh. Enjoy!
As promised here is part 2 of what millennials are up to during quarantine. We are in the most unpredictable times and change in society is inevitable but we just don't know what that change will be. Grant and I discuss changes to our everyday routines and eventually what we can expect in society once the "new normal" is established. Shhhhh.... we have a special guest on this episode but you need to listen to find out who! Salt segment is as funny as ever.
The famous instagram photographer @Wooz aka Sam Woosley joins us all the way from Los Angeles and he also happens to be my very good friend from high school and we shared a dorm room freshman year! This guy is damn near verified on Instagram and he shares all the details on how he reached success in one of the toughest industries to work in - Free Lance Photography. Of course we had him play From1millenial games and he surprisingly did well and his Salt Segment is worth the wait. This is one of my favorite podcasts I've done so far and I hope you guys enjoy it.
You wanted it we got it. Our first episode where we dive into what Covid-19 has done to society and more importantly how millennials are reacting to it. Grant Reever is in the building and being his true self as usual lol. Find out this episode's salt segment lol you can relate I'm sure.
Ok consider this millennials renting or buying part 2 (episode from ages ago) only this time I, yes the host of From1millenial, actually bought a house. When people you know buy a house you only see the end right? Well here's an inside look at the entire process in 30 minutes. Find out the biggest pain points and frustrations of the process as always from a millennial's perspective. You don't want to miss this episode! My real-estate agent & friend brings insight from his side of the deal along with the usual Grant punch lines. Salt segment is extra salty today. ** Remember 1st 10 to email James@thelifeofwilson get a free copy of the book Pain Formation** -from our last episode. Do it!
