Ro: Fulgii de zăpadă cădeau ușor peste ruinele antice de la Sarmizegetusa.
En: The snowflakes were gently falling over the ancient ruins of Sarmizegetusa.

Ro: Vântul hoinărea prin crăpăturile zidurilor de piatră, cântând o melodie veche.
En: The wind wandered through the cracks of the stone walls, singing an old melody.

Ro: Mihai, Raluca și Adrian erau acolo pentru a face cercetări arheologice.
En: Mihai, Raluca, and Adrian were there for archaeological research.

Ro: Mihai era nerăbdător. Visase să descopere o civilizație uitată.
En: Mihai was eager and had dreamed of discovering a forgotten civilization.

Ro: — Priviti, aici ar putea fi locul, spuse Mihai, arătând o structură acoperită de zăpadă.
En: "Look, this could be the spot," said Mihai, pointing to a structure covered in snow.

Ro: Adrian ridică din sprâncene. Nu era convins.

Ro: Mihai căzu la pământ, istovit.
