Yvonne Weldon is an Activist, Mother, Grandmother and writer who was the first Indigenous person to be elected to the City of Sydney Council. Fast becoming a household name after releasing bangers like Samarian Boy, Selema (Po Po) and Vula Mlomo. Author of Hip Hop & Hymns, Journalist and Producer Mawunyo was born in Ghana and raised in the regional NSW town of Muswellbrook. The girls dive into her memoir, the influence of Black American culture on her identity as a African Australian growing up in a regional town, her experience working in New York City at Hip Hop's Bible, The Source Magazine, racism in Australian media, the process of writing a book,  and much more!
