  • Bye, Bye old. I am NEW! Our feelings of being lost can’t stop God from getting us where He wants us to go.

While on this life journey with God, He'll continue changing our thoughts and also our outlook on life.

God desire to brighten your present and future. By helping you to relinquish your past hurts and mistakes. With your trust in Him, He'll continue leading your path towards peace and joy. But this will also take some work on our part.

Forgetting the past and focusing our attention on elevating each day, this will allow us to shine and persevere through all life's challenges.

Your identity is not linked to your past. Allow God to help you in changing your identity.

He will sustain us. This is why God has promised to give us a river in the desert. When we lose hope and feel like we’ve lost our way, God offers to give us rest and restoration along the way. Then when we are refreshed we can continue the journey.

    He will sustain us.

    7. Down but not OUT! Staying focus and steadfast through difficult times.

We had the opportunity to visit Daniel in Babylon. There we got insights on staying focus and steadfast through difficult times. Daniel was thrown into the lion's den for not following king Darius decree, to worship or prayed to no other god but only him, King Darius. Due to Daniel's discipline, he continued with his normal routine to pray three times a day.  He believed in God and followed the Lord's commands and also committed in his heart to remain steadfast in his prayer and praise to the Lord.

The story of Daniel in the lion's den teaches us about the promises and faithfulness of God, even if we feel like everything has been lost.

Even for us today, we can take tips from daniel in not straying off course in daily renewing our minds disciplines.

      Power word:

      Psalms 23: 1,3,4

If you allow God to be your shepherd, he will supply your need. He will also be with you in your darkest times, willing and ready to support and guide you. Don't lose hope, because our challenges have not caught God by surprise.

Keep moving forward and developing new disciplines each day.

      You're down but not out.

    8. War against Depression. Everything will be alright.

“Our life is not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happened. Not by what life brings to us but by the attitude we bring towards life.”

      Power word:

      Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well-doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Keep moving forward, and don't quit.

A few steps to combat depression, while on this journey of growth and well-doing.

      1. Don't get weary in using this time to develop new disciplines and practices each day. An hour each morning to renew your mind.
      2. Don't get weary in setting goals, taking an inventory of all your skills. You'd be surprised what untapped potential and new discoveries you'll find.

      8. You are significant. This means your significance comes from God, because we are made in His image.

Have you felt insignificant lately? Or are you feeling insignificant right now?

**Significant means: sufficiently great or important to be worthy of attention; noteworthy.**

        Our Power Word:

        Genesis 1:26

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

See it’s easy to measure our value by our accomplishments, possessions, gifts, talents, or even our looks. And also I think we’ve become susceptible to our value coming from things at some point in our life.

States that you're made in the image of God. This means your significance comes from God, being that we were made in God's image.

Be reminded, you've been given infinite worth without extrinsic validation.

Having the freedom to know that you’ve been valued by God since the beginning of time. No need to perform or be controlled by either someone's opinion.

Live life on purpose. You’re significant and a miracle.

Taking time in the mornings to prepare your day can be a simple activity like for instance.

        1. Take a deep breath once you awake, enjoying that process of inhaling and exhaling.
