Full Tossers

After a brief summer hiatus, Full Tossers is back and it's bigger than ever. New additions to the hosting line-up, Jonny Muir and Sam Watson immediately settle into their innings, solving the problems with county cricket, as well as England's T20 selection headaches ahead of the World Cup. We even find time to pick a side worthy of saving earth against the Martians - you can thank us later. 

It's got dingers, it's got rockets, it's got disagreements. What more could a badger possibly want?

This episode we sit down with the brains behind the Twenty-Two Yards social channels, Angus Wilson, who's on a mission to put the cool in cricket, appreciate the aesthetic beauty, and share the untold tales of the game we love. Will and I also discuss the merry-go-round of the International circuit, the woes facing Sri Lankan cricket with recent events in Durham, and look ahead towards an exciting summer of Hundred and Test cricket.

Welcome back to Season 2 of Full Tossers!

This week we take a look back at England's subcontinental winter of discontent, getting Axared and Ashwined in India, and take an early view on the England vs New Zealand Test Match at Lords as Devon Conway racks up a debut ton. We also explore which cricketers would most likely make-up the cast of Avengers and Pulp Fiction, purely because we're good cultural blokes.  

We chat to England opening batsman and all round-gun Dom Sibley about life in the bubble, bowling leg spin, and being criticised for scoring tons for England. This episode is dedicated to Disability Challengers, a charity that supports disabled young people across the South of England by providing fully inclusive play and leisure opportunities. It is a cause that is close to Dom and our hearts, so please give generously in this most difficult time.

In an emotional and climactic season finale, we host the Full Tossers end of season awards - The CRAFTAs. Here, we crown the best and worst of the cricketing moments of the summer, from dropped catches and terrible haircuts, to the champagne moment of the season. Monty’s Mastermind sees us play Arcriculate as Will and I go head to head for a final showdown. Thanks to everyone who’s joined us along the way, and we’ll be back bigger and better than ever when the covers are rolled off once again. 

We are back after a summer break to discuss the series vs Australia, a premature judgement of choking, and the deity that is Chris Woakes. Monty’s Mastermind sees us explore the world of sledging and franchise cricket, whilst we are also delighted to be joined by the victorious squad of the Pique Blinders to discuss the ecstasy of being crowned LMS London Champions.  

This week we discuss the snore fest that was the second test against Pakistan and the run fest that the third test is shaping up to be. Monty’s mastermind brings the new linguistic invention of Crickney Rhyming Slang to the wider world and we have listened to the masses and busted the cricketing jargon that keeps you up on those sleepless nights.  

This episode we are joined by another Full Tosser Nathan Thorpe to discuss life as an amateur cricketer who actually has talent and sledging 14 year-olds who are better than you. We also discuss England's extraordinary recent test win over Pakistan and the glorified scouting exercise that was England's ODI series vs Ireland. Monty's Mastermind takes a literary twist as Will and I test our cricketing intellects to breaking point.  

This week we discuss the first two tests of the #raisethebat series against the Windies, biosecure test cricket, and the Joffra Archer's penalty for puncturing it. We also relive the trauma of our return to amateur cricket and the painful reminder that the things you love the most hurt the most.
