"Zephaniah: Prophetic Sequel"
Zephaniah 2:1-3

Join us as we continue our summer sermon series journey through the 12 Minor Prophets titled "Into the Heart of God." This week we consider the ninth of the twelve minor prophets, Zephaniah who is also the last of the pre-exilic prophets (written before the Babylonian Exile, 587 BC). This is the final word to the people of Judah before Jerusalem would be destroyed, and the people carried off to a foreign land. We will continue to explore the heart of God in this time of history and how that heart continues to carry meaning into today - especially in light of Jesus Christ.

"Micah: A Call for Justice and Mercy"
Micah

In his strong words against greed, abuse of power, and religious hypocrisy, the prophet Micah reveals the high priority God places on the most poor and vulnerable in any society. But Micah offers more than angry judgment. He also reveals God's character of patience, justice, compassion, and forgiveness. Thousands of years later, we are still invited to join the prophet in a response of humility, justice and mercy.
