In this episode we are joined by special guest Garrett Holt. He coaches girls soccer, but more importantly (or tragically) he is a diehard Nebraska fan from Omaha, NE. We will talk about what it is like to support teams that, like the British Empire, have seen their suns set. We also talk about how BYU is trying their very best to portray the Cowardly Lion in the LDS holiday pageant, Sams new favorite team the Northwestern Wildcats, and of course how terrible the Big 12 is. 

In our second episode of the week Sam and I talk about the firing of Will Muschamp (who cares), the soon to be firing of "Michigan Man" Jim Harbaugh, the expansion of the college football playoffs (they have to this year right? I mean right?), the big tilt this weekend (and I can't believe that I am saying it) between Indiana and Ohio State University (I refuse the the). Great show, hope you enjoy it. By the way, in this episode Sam is slurping coffee not tea, so there's that. 

Since the EPL is off this week for international play we decided to do a wayyyyy inside soccer episode. This is a great episode if you want to understand what all the fuss was about "Project Big Picture" and more importantly what a European Super League would look like. Sam swears it will be great (I'm not so sure). We also talk about the prospect of relegation in U.S. soccer and what it would take. A long episode but a great one to help you understand what all the hubbub is about. We'll be back next week with an EPL episode. 

On this episode Sam and I talk about the return of the Pac 12 and the Oregon Ducks. We also talk about the train wreck that is the Big 10 and how Indiana is going to the playoffs. Covid is wreaking havoc on the season but Notre Dame things that a few drunken fans on the field after an upset is as cool as a Rose Garden party. 

In the first episode of the week Sam and I discuss (again) how evil VAR officials are ruining the game. We also talk about how good Harry Kane is and the whacky end to the the West Ham v Fulham match. A moment of silence for Sam's Derby County Rams as well, may they rest in peace. 

This week we talk about how good Liverpool is, mounting injuries in the EPL and why, Sam's Derby County Rams playing Sunderland next season, and the big Notre Dame v Clemson game.
