In the offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we receive the REAL BODY AND BLOOD of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Eucharist is our nourishment for our daily journey with the Lord and our journey toward ETERNAL LIFE. We are to receive the Eucharist and the Holy Word of God, especially the Gospel, and LIVE THE MYSTERIES and GRACES they contain. We are to SHARE them with others daily.

Jesus is amazed at the faith of the Roman soilder who ask Jesus to heal his house servant. This unnamed soilder, a pagan and hated by the Jews, seeks Jesus in faith and his servant is healed. NO ONE is beyond the the healing mercy of Jesus, The Divine Physician of body and soul. We are to pray and BELIEVE and through Jesus' Divine Mercy it will be done.

Jesus' first act after the Sermon on the Mount is to heal a leper! This is shocking, for lepers were OUTCASTS and seen as physically and SPIRITUALLY UNCLEAN. Yet Jesus TOUCHES the leper and made him clean. Jesus' healing touch is FOR US! Jesus touches us so we may be made clean of the leprosy of sin.
