Jesus assures us that in his name our JOY will be to the FULL! Jesus does NOT indicate contentment or happiness. Rather, we are made for JOY-- the state of BLESSEDNESS. How? By each day opening our whole being to the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. For it is thegift of the Spirit that brings life HERE on earth and ETERNAL LIFE with the Holy Trinity.

To live in fear is a terrible thing. But we need NOT LIVE in fear! The indwelling Holy Spirit of TRUTH frees us from fear. We are NOT to be silent! We are to proclaim in thought, word, and action the Truth-- Jesus is Lord and Savior! No power on earth or in heaven can defeat the Word of the Lord. We we are to be of COURAGE!

It has been 40 days since the Resurrection of the Lord. Today Jesus ascends to the Father. The disciples, and we as well, are NOT abandoned. Jesus will send the Holy Spirit in 10 days, Pentecost, to begin the Age of the Church. It is now OUR time to witness that Jesus is the Son of the Father and Savior of the whole world.

Failure is difficult to deal with. When we fail at something we can feel that we are unworthy and of no value. Not true! WE CAN FAIL WITHOUT BEING A FAILURE! Our so called success and failures DO NOT DEFINE US AS PERSONS. We all fail and fall short of the glory of God. We are limited, imperfect human beings. Humility is truth and moves us to seek God' s grace and mercy. Even when we seem to fail, IF WE ARE FAITHFUL we habe NOT failed!

The verdict of the trial of Jesus in the courtroom of the world is announced! The charges-- Jesus is accused of SIN, INJUSTICE, and PERJURY. Jesus is pronounced INNONCENT ON ALL CHARGES! It is his accusers who are found GUILTY by the Holy Spirit. This episode discusses the the trial and verdict of Jesus.
