The title of this episode seems to be a contridiction. If one is affluent one is not poor, and vice versa. However, there is more than one way to be affluent as well as poor. This episode discusses the condition of affluent poverty and its meaning for our Country and for OURSELVES.

Jesus tells us the harvest of souls for the Kingdom is plentiful but the LABORERS ARE FEW. It NOT just the priesrs, deacons, and religious who are to gather the Lord's harvest, EACH OF US IS TO BE A LABRORER FOR THE KINGDOM HARVEST! Each day through our prayer and WITNESS we are to be God's gathers for the harvest of salvation.

Anger is a a powerful and can be a very frighting and destructive emotion. We often struggle with our anger and resentment and disappointments. This episode discusses the root of anger- its destructive and RIGHTEOUS expressions.

Today we offer glory, praise, and thanksgiving to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, for the gift of Jesus THE SACRED HEART. We are invited to more than a devotion. WE ARE INVITED TO A REVELATION, AREVELATION OF THE VERY ESSENCE OF THE BEING OF GOD. This episode presents the meaning of this blessed day.

The word gospel means " good news"! Jesus did not wants his disciples to preach and live " bad news". Yes there are crosses and burdens but Christ offers us an INNER JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT which the world CANNOT TAKE AWAY! We need not be afraid to really live the GOOD NEWS-- We are made new in Christ.

Every call is a mystery! Jesus calls each of us by name everyday. How do we answer? The call by Jesus is the MOST IMPORTANT CALL we can receive. The call is for us, individually, for Jesus has something for us to do and BE today!

Sin makes us a paralytic. We are chained to our past. We are unable to walk toward our true home - heaven with Almighty God. The Sacrament of Penance is God's mercy and forgiveness so we may walk in freedom whereby Christ has make us free. Jesus invites us to be of COURAGE and walk FREE!

Sacrifice is NOT a popular word. Even less popular if we are asked to sacrifice. Yet we are alive because of sacrifice-- Jesus on the Cross, our parents and loved ones, all who have sacrificed for our well- being over the years. It is a grace to be able to sacrifice for others. The deepest of sacrifices is the GIFT OF OURSELVES. As the Father sent Jesus to the Cross for OUR salvation, as disciples we we are invited each day to die to ourselves so that WE MIGHT TRULY LIVE !

The first rule of a game is to KNOW you are in a game! The current game, the MOST SERIOUS OF GAMES, is our SPIRITUAL WARFARE WITH THE EVIL ONE. There is an intense struggle in our Country and world between the forces of Light and the forces of Darkness. We cannot passively sit quiet. Each day we we must take up the shield of God, put on the armour of FAITH, and the weapon of PRAYER, especially for those in authority and influence. In so doing WE contribute to God's victory and ours as well.

Memory is a precious gift. We desire to be remembered and it is important for US to remember those who have made a difference in our life-- living and DEAD! Above all, we are to REMEMBER THE LORD IN ALL THINGS EACH DAY. The Lord NEVER forgets us. In our blessings and burdens, in our crosses and crowns the Lord is ever beside and within us.
