How does God love us? God loves us with the supreme depth of a mother's love! Such a a love is forever faithful and nothing can break that bond. God's love like that of a mother is always ready to forgive and heal. Lent is the time of grace. God's MOTHERLY LOVE WAITS to receive us ESPECIALLY if we have sinned. The merciful, Motherly love of celebrates the lost who are found and the dead who have come back to live!

Water is essential for life. Hydration is not just for the body but essential for the soul. Jesus offers us each day the life giving waters the refresh and renew our souls. This episode reflects on the meaning of spiritual hydration for living a fruitful life in the Holy Spirit.

The past is powerful. Memories can be cherished or painful. Our past sins can burden our present and future. Yet with God's mercy and forgiveness we can get past our past! The person we were NEED NOT BE THE PERSON WE ARE TODAY AND WILL BE TOMORROW. The challenge it to ACCEPTENCE from the God who forgives, heals, and opens doors and clears paths to a NEW WAY OF LIVING. Today WE are invited to get past our past.

Each of us has been entrusted with a mission. In fact, WE ARE MISSION! God, in Christ, has called us to be His ambassadors of RECONCILLIATION! WE are invited to continue the saving ministry of healing that which has become torn and seperated-- first with God and then flowing into our families and daily interactions. Lent is the holy time of reconnecting that which has been torn apart. TODAY in the day of healing the breach with God and others. We will also be INWARDLY HEALED

During Lent and throughout the whole of our earthly journey the struggle is with THE SELF. This is especially true when we perform religious activities! Jesus' parable about the Pharasee and the tax collector calls for DAILY reflection. This episode reflects on this parable and its meaning for our DAILY walking with the Lord.

Conversion is the ongoing process of turning FROM sin TOWARD the holy will of God. Conversion is NOT just for the individual but for NATIONS who have rejected God's covenant. This episode reflects on the need for individual and NATIONAL conversion.

There are two basic ways of living each day-- we can gather or scatter. The way of Satan is SCATTERING. The Devil seeks division, strife, conflict, and unrest in nations, families, and within our everyday lives. The way of God is the way of GATHERING. We have seen recdntly the effects of division and unrest-- death, destruction, and unrest. Such is the way of the Evil One. God calls us to be in our everyday lives VESSELS OF UNITY in our thoughts, words, and actions. Each day is one of uniting or dividing. May we be vessels of God's unity and PRAY for those in authority and influence to be the vessels of God's desire for oneness and peace.

There are three steps in our journey with Jesus during Lent and THROUGHOUT the whole of our lives: preperation, formation, and continuation. This episode discusses all three- how they are connected and how they apply to US EACH DAY.

Forgiveness is central to Lent and the Christian life. Jesus calls to " forgive FROM THE HEART". This episode reflects on the meaning of Jesus' words and the major obsticle to such forgiveness. Why must we forgive from the heart?

Leprosy is not just physical but SPIRITUAL. Sin, to miss the mark, effects us in relationship with God, within our selves, and with others. Lent is the season of being MADE CLEAN. We no longer need live apart. We can be cleansed and made whole. Jesus, the Spotless Lamb, washes us clean of sin and guilt through THE CROSS. Lent is the time of living apart no longer. The sacrament of Penance brings cleansing and healing. We can be RESTORED to oneness with God, self, and others. The God of DIVINE MERCY desires all of to be clean.
