We need both stability and change, conversion, to grow humanly and SPIRITUALLY. Lent is the grace filled time to reflect on our relationship with the Lord. Has stability become stagnation? Has change turned to chaos? What is needed is BALANCE.

This episode examines a familiar parable of Jesus -- The Prodical Son. Attention is usually focused on the father and the son who left. This episode will focus on the STAY AT HOME SON. What lessons can we learn from his words and actions? What does the parable teach about God, especially during Lent?

The parable of the prodical son is a familiar one. Attention is most paid to the son who left and the father. In this episode we turn our attention to the STAY AT HOME SON. We examine HIS reaction to the behavior of the father and HIS view of his brother. What lessons can we learn from the reactions of each?

There are times we feel abandoned. Those we love- family and friends have turned away by envy- and left us for dead. At times we feel abandoned by God because of our sins. While others may desert us GOD NEVER DOES! God sent His Son to LIFT US UP and SAVE! Each day, THIS DAY God wants to LIFT YOU UP! May we open our hands and hearts to be with the ONE who NEVER leaves us to die.

The parable of Lazarus and Dives ( the rich man) challenges the belief that we can judge who is good and who is evil by how well off one is. God's measurement is very different than the world"s. This episode presents the difference and its meaning for our Lenten journey.

A hypocrite is a person who wears masks. True intentions are covered up. One says or does something for show but the REAL intention is the opposite of the word or deed. Lent is a time for removing masks and opening our hearts to God. We will experience NOT rejection but DIVINE MERCY.
