In this episode of the sophomores brethren meeting, our Pastor taught on understanding the heavens and tabernacle. He explained that heaven means setting apart, and it is where God is enthroned as seen in Psalm 103:11 and Isaiah 66:1-2.

In addition we saw that there is the heaven and the heaven of heavens as seen in 1 Kings 8:27. It was explained that the heaven is the heaven of the earth as seen in Gen 1:1, while scriptures such as 2 Cor 12:3-4 and Rev 4:1-2 shows that the heaven of the heavens is where God is enthroned: the paradise or third heaven. From this, it was concluded that there are three heavens, together forming the heavens.

Furthermore we saw that the pattern of the tabernacle that was given to Moses was patterned after the heavens as seen in Exo 25:8-9. The tabernacle consisted of the Outer Court, Holy Place, and Most Holy Place which was a pattern of the heavens.

Finally, we established that the understanding of tabernacle is needed since our journey to the salvation of our souls is after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the Lord is planning to make a tabernacle among men as seen in Rev 21:3.

In this episode of High School & Freshmen Brethren Meeting, we examined the importance of tongues in the believer’s life. It was first established that the salvation of the spirit started with the gift of faith, which enabled us to believe in our hearts. After which, the Holy Ghost baptized our spirit in the body of Christ, and we became new creatures. Tongues is a sign that should follow everyone who has become a new creature (Mark 16:17). The believer’s soul must first be baptized with the Holy Ghost to speak with tongues (Acts 1:5; 2:4)

We saw that there are three kinds of tongues in the Bible: tongues of men, tongues of angels, and new tongues. The Holy Ghost may give utterance of tongues of men when He deems it necessary to witness to people around us, as in Acts 2:4-12. But primarily, He gives the utterance of new tongues when we pray in tongues. Speaking with tongues is the believer’s direct communication with God, which no man (including the believer, angels, or evil spirits) can understand (1 Cor. 14:2).

Additionally, praying in tongues builds the believer up and supplies him with strength to obey the Lord. We saw that tongues did not cease after the apostles died. Also, Apostle Paul did not discourage speaking in tongues in 1 Corinthians 14. Rather, he was addressing some excesses in the Corinthian church and bringing balance to speaking with tongues. It is a sign of great value that should follow every believer.

In this episode of the Gadites USA Juniors meeting, our Pastor continued the series on “Understanding the Tabernacle and Spiritual Patterns,” we began by establishing the reality of God’s throne in heaven, drawing from Revelation chapter 4. It was shown that the throne is not a mere chair but a vast, circular expanse, with the four living creatures (cherubims) positioned closest to the center, and the twenty-four elders seated round about in concentric arrangement. This physical, ordered setting in heaven was used to demonstrate that God is a God of deliberate structure, even in the unseen realm.

In this episode of the Gadites USA Juniors meeting, our Pastor continued the series on “Understanding the Tabernacle and Spiritual Patterns,” we began by establishing the reality of God’s throne in heaven, drawing from Revelation chapter 4. In this episode of the Gadites Seniors & Grad Brethren Meeting, we began expounding on the world to come. It was established that heaven and earth will pass away (Matthew 24:35, Isaiah 51:6). This will happen not because of sin, but because the present heaven and earth were never originally created to last forever. They will eventually vanish to make way for the new heaven and the new earth.

Additionally, it was shown that the world is different from the earth. The earth is the physical space we live in, while the world is the system that governs it. The world is the understanding that teaches men how to relate to things on the earth. Before the fall of man, Adam used a world called the ‘living soul’ to govern the earth. After his disobedience, Satan became the god of this world and designed a different system for man to live by.

Furthermore, we saw that worlds are framed by words (Hebrews 11:3). God’s original intention for the earth was for it to be the place where men would receive the words of God that would frame the world to come in the souls of men. This is the purpose of the teachings of the New Testament. He intended for man to live by the understanding of the world to come until the new heaven and earth come. Without this, the present age will not pass away.

Everyone who is born again is a citizen of the new earth because we became new creatures at the new birth. But we must journey in receiving and obeying the teachings of the New Testament to determine our place and rank in the new heaven and new earth.
