am human and no threat to you or your delicious... I mean charming

children. Ha. Ha. Boy, I'm glad we don't have to worry about those

machines. They seem like really cool and funny, not-people. Phew. Sorry about that. The ship

computer has been monitoring your planet's news sources, started saying

things like "Kill All Humans..." so we needed to ... adjust it. Anyway,

seems like a good time to talk about Artificial Intelligence and the

positive and negative consequences for your world.

Also, Chris has a review of the movie "65" now in theaters, and Charles reviews the new Tetris movie streaming on Apple+ to wet our appetites.

It would be a gross negligence of our duty if we were going to talk about vampires, in any respect, without inviting our good friend Stu Burns to bring a little expertise to the podcast for a change. But that’s not all! There’s more movies coming out right now than we can handle in one per episode, so we’re also talking about the new Dungeons and Dragons movie, Honor Among Thieves! ...To go where no one has gone before. Again...since we've already been talking about Star Trek: Picard's latest season. Here on the U.S.S. Galactic Driftwood we're getting really concerned about branching timelines, rogue Borg Hives, and what happens next. A lot happened in this last season of Picard, so we've got a lot to talk about this week. Thankfully, we're joined by fellow Trekkie and past guest Mark Kitchell! Magic the Gathering is releasing some collectors editions cards that include limited editions of the Rings of Power and one, and only one, "One Ring" card.  How much will this card sell for?  How can you obtain it and the other limited edition Lord of the Rings cards?  We also dip our toes into the Shadow and Bone series and later discuss the age-old question, "If you were about to give birth, would you volunteer to get bit by a zombie in the hope that it would confer some sort of immunity to the zombie virus to your baby?"   These are some of the things that inquiring minds want to know this week on the Galactic Driftwood podcast.
