"...to seek out new life, and new civilizations..." Spoilers! This is your spoiler warning right at the top! No, seriously, we spoil something in the first couple minutes. This week, on the Galactic Driftwood Podcast, we're talking about one of our favorite things in the whole multiverse: Star Trek! And not just Star Trek, but Picard's third, and sadly, final season. There's only four episodes out at the time we recorded this, so we aren't spoiling everything yet, but we'd advice you go and check the episodes out before listening this week!

Run! It's Pablo Escobear! Greetings, Earthlings! The crew of the USS Galactic Driftwood was informed of a very dangerous situation. Apparently your earth predators can consume your earth cocaine (not as good as space cocaine) and run rampant! This week, we're talking about the recent, horrifying, documentary Cocaine Bear. We are joined by local wildlife expert, Stu Burns, who brings his expertise to bear on the subject. If you have had experience with dangerous animals on drugs, get in the comments!

Scanlan's haaaaaaaaaaaaaaand! Welcome back, Drifters! We're cruising back into your local space to broadcast our brain thoughts into your brain meats! Prepare your brain meats because this week we're talking about The Legend of Vox Machina and The Last of Us. What are your thoughts on using an adventurer as a **checks notes** dragon suppository? Ew. Anyway. If you'd let that fly at your table, leave us a comment and let us know what skill you'd tie that roll to! Also, really sad mushroom zombie times! Yay!

This week we're talking about some of our crews' recent experience in the world of MÖRK BORG. Yes, it's spelled in all capital letters and should be bolded. You can find it here if you're curious (https://morkborg.com/). Come and hang out with us as we reveal the depths to which we have sunk in pursuit of surviving for just one more day.

“You’re a great warrior! And a swordsman!… And you’re ten times bigger than I am, stupid!” – Willow Welcome back to another great episode of the Galactic Driftwood Podcast! This week we're catching up on a show that we missed when it first aired; Willow, on Disney+! We have plenty to talk about how Disney revisited an old fantasy classic from the 80s. We'll also talk about our first impressions of the new season of The Legend of Vox Machina and our hopes for the final season of Star Trek: Picard.

Roll a Wisdom Saving throw. 11? Oof. As a result of that fail you buy five more D&D source books. That's right folks, we've got more to talk about on the Open Gaming License fiasco that we talked about last week. Really, this is just catching you up on what happened over the last couple weeks in that area. We'll also be talking about our recent experience playing a D&D alternative, the pitch black horror theme table-top RPG (TTRPG), Mork Borg. Get in the comments and tell us what you think about the OGL and Mork Borg.

What does it look like when a corporation roles a Nat 1? It looks a lot like the last few weeks that Wizards of the Coast has had. Welcome back to the Galactic Driftwood Podcast! This week we're taking a look at the evolving situation resulting from Wizard of the Coast announcing changes to their Open Gaming License. Don't know what that is? We'll talk about what it is, why its important, and why creators in the Dungeons and Dragons space are up in arms. This is a developing situation, so everything we talk about is "at the time of recording".

"I'm a serial killer. They look just like everyone else." Welcome back to the bridge of the U.S.S. Galactic Driftwood! This week we're cruising back into your solar system to talk about Wednesday, currently streaming on Netflix. Just like us, the shows a little bit creepy, a little bit kooky and we have thoughts! Beware, spoilers about this supernatural mystery show, so give it a watch first if you want to be surprised at any of the twists. Snap snap!

You better watch out. Santa Claus is coming. Welcome back, fellow Drifters, to the last episode of the year! And what a better note so send 2022 off than with an After Dark Podcast! This week, the valiant crew of the Galactic Driftwood gathered around a burning Yule Log (joined by our good friend Stu Burns) and watched Violent Night. Think if Die Hard and Miracle on 34th street had a perfect, flawless baby. Now, I gotta warn you, we're gonna be talking about some spoilers, so if you want to go in clean, go see the movie and then join us for the discussion. But if you just want to spread some holiday blood... I mean cheer, pull up a chair and join us! JOIN US!
