A man once said, "The law was the light that reveals how dirty the room is, not the broom that sweeps it clean." Wow isn’t that powerful! The law was never given to us to make us right with God; it was given to make us come to the end of ourselves and cause us to recognize that we need a savior. That savior’s name is Jesus! In today’s message, Pastor Mark reminds us that we aren’t building a house in heaven on our own. We aren’t cutting a check signed in our blood to pay for our relationship with the Father. That Jesus is the one who justifies us. Jesus is the one who makes us right with God, and He’s the one who keeps us right with God.
