We only had a short time with Jodie due to time constraints, so there will have to be a part two to this conversation at some point. This was a super fun and lively chat! Jodie is a Canadian comedian who has been rocking the Australian comedy scene for 11 months. With her infectious laughter and quick wit, Jodie shared her comedic journey from Canada to Australia, cracking jokes about cultural differences along the way. We also touch on some more serious and touching topics and learn about a charity clash she's promoting, happening on June 1st (link in the description). We were joined by Milan Crncevic and the rest of the episode was a bit of a blur the moment he stepped into the studio. Milan tells us about his insane 50km walk from Melbourne to Mornington. He gives us some gifts! We also find out why he wears a hat as we polish off a bottle of 50% alcohol between the three of us in the span of half an hour. We totally got "Milan'd"! So many shots!

Milan is so much fun to be around and one of the biggest, larger than life personalities you'll ever meet. His aim is to take care of you and make sure you're always having a good time. This was the most fun we've had recording an episode!

We were so lucky to welcome Sam Petersen onto the show this week! By the time Sam dropped by the studio, he had just finished recording his sixth podcast for the day. Let’s just say he knows a thing or two about podcasting. We cover Sam’s love for documentaries, the idea behind his podcast Confessions, finding those reddit confessions, helping others excel in their craft, filmmaking, why he loves and misses collaboration and partnerships, sticking with your passions, how he fell into the world of stand up comedy, and why he stopped. This episode really did end up turning into a deconstruction of what it takes to put together a podcast and we were so there for it!

Seth comes onto the podcast this week and had us on the edge of our seats, holding our breath, and fully absorbed in his life story. We were often at a loss for words as Seth divulged each response to our questions with a great deal of care and thought. He really bared all and we go deep into the heart of a person’s early struggle when you go through life as someone who is religious, but also gay.

We cover Seth’s relationship with God, coming out, navigating his way through the church when he told them he was gay, working in hospitality, being in a comedy duo, and why the gym and fitness is the perfect outlet to relieve stress and anger. This was a true intimate chat at it’s finest.

Comedian and author Sami Shah joins the show this week! From Karachi, Pakistan, Sami started off in improv comedy, then turned his attention to stand-up comedy. His first ever stand-up gig was in a three hundred seat theatre! Find out why Sami believes artists work well under constraints and why he loves to keep busy with a lot of other creative fields (he’s even done a TEDX talk!). We also talk about his move from Pakistan to Australia. Sami is quite the inspiration for anyone wanting to break into a multitude of creative avenues. We had a lot of fun with this one!
