Gamers Under the Stairs is back this week with guests Ricky and Geoff from International Space Pimps. Who are these Space Pimps we speak of? They are an ever growing group of PC gamers in the 604 and they tell us what they're all about. Ricky gives us a great Eve Online economy lesson and Dr. Awesome has finally found someone to play Freelancer with. Moving along to console gaming, the guys talk about the ups and downs of Far Cry 3. This week's peeve - Video Game violence is yet again blamed for someone else's bad behavior. 

This week Michael and Dr. Awesome are analyzing the Video Game Awards. They are dissapointed by the lack of new content, annoyed by Snoop Lion and Sam Jackson becomes this week's PEEVE OF THE WEEK. Bonus, Dr. Awesome learns the importance of considering your source. 

Back from hiatus, Dr. Awesome, Michael and their guest Aaron open with the buggy release of Black Ops 2 and if big title games are released unfinished or untested to meet deadlines. The Wii-U is the current and quietest console release and Michael only cares about the size of its power cord, Aaron thinks the handling is clumbsy and Dr. Awesome is not happy about the gigabyte hogging update. The guys touch quickly on 2 big released for 'Droid gaming and this week's PEEVE OF THE WEEK- Microsoft and the Xbox Dashboard.

 We were graciously invited to the beta opening of EXP Bar in Vancouver, and Dr. Awesome and Michael are joined by Jen Alaggia and Jimi Watkins, Bar Manager Supreme. We talk about the food, the drinks and the butt slaps shared by all. The gang moves into the topic of mobile gaming and thumbs down the Nintendo DS and surprisingly thumbs up the PS VITA.

Dr. Awesome, Michael and Jen from Booked! talk video game ratings and the ESRB. Is it the responsibility of the retailer or the parent to censor what games the younger crowd is playing? Jen gets biblical, Michael nostalgic and we learn the “Star Trek Rule”. Michael’s Peeve of the Week is all about the Vancouver studio situation. 

Dr. Awesome and Michael are joined by Steve and Marc-Andre to discuss Roger Ebert’s statement that Video Games can never be considered art.
