We have a challenging marble game for today’s iPad365. Montezuma Stone is a game where you shoot a colored marble onto the playing area. If it hits the same color marble before it gets to the other end, both marbles are removed. If not, that marble comes into play.

The goal is to clear the board of all marbles. Each level gets progressively harder. You will also get special stones to shoot at. They will freeze the stones, change them all to the same color, or increase the value of the shots.

The app races against time for a better score, so the quicker you finish, the better your score will be.

Montezuma Stone is free to level 10. There are 80 levels, which you can unlock for .99¢

Today’s game is called Super Chicken. It’s a game where you have a chicken on a perch. Eggs are floating on the screen. Your job is to get the chicken to each egg, so it goes in the nest. Then land safely on the nest as to not break the eggs.

Levels get harder as you go, branches and other objects get in the way. Every time you flap the chicken wings, you loose gold coins. It requires you to be able to tap the screen and tilt it to navigate the bird to the nest. If you only cover some of the eggs, the covered eggs will hatch.

A fun game, but it might need a bit of tweaking. Sometimes it takes 2 fingers to get the chicken to actually start to fly.

If you are into Strategy RPG games, we have one for you. Legendary heroes is a game where you attack their towers, and defend your own. You can take on new challenges, or soon go into multiplayer mode.

You control up to 3 different players in the match. Use the minions to the best of their ability so your health doesn’t get too low. As you go, you get special skills you can use to attack and retreat.

There are many Sim games out there for the iPad. But how many of them let you make movies like Uncle Buck, Biloxi Blues, Despicable Me, or the big Lebowski?

The game Universal Movie Tycoon lets you build a studio to create the movie of your dreams.You start with an empty lot, in which you build sets upon. The first set will let you make the first movie, which is Uncle Buck. Choose the director and actor, then you are off and running.

As you continue, you build more sets, movie prop houses, makeup trailers, and more. You expand the set, then add roads and greenery. As each movie is complete, you get rewarded with cash. Use the “Movie Magic” to move your creations along, and level up.

Just like most other sim games, you can purchase in-store credit for more movie magic or other items. Collect from each building at the end of the day to get more money to make more movies. You can also choose to purchase and watch the movies before you make them.

Well, this app may not be the easiest to pronounce, but it is a fun game to play. Worldle is a simple word game where you have to find words within 16 letters on the screen. The words are arranged in a 4 row by 4 column square. You move your finger across the tiles to spell words. You can swipe left, right, up, down, or diagonal to spell a word. Each tile has a point value to it. If the word is accepted, the tiles turn green. If not, the tiles turn red. You keep spelling words until the time is up, then the person with the most points wins.

This is a online game only – no single player mode. Therefore, you will need to connect to play.

Last Sunday, we went through another rash of April Fools jokes. But sometimes jokes can turn into reality. Case in point: iCade was a April Fools joke turned real. So this year, ThinkGeek brings out the Hungry Hungry Hippos game. Only thing is – I really want one!

Granted, you might have to figure out how to work the add-on hippos. After all, you really don’t want them to hit the screen and scratch or crack your iPad. If they can avoid that issue, and keep the iPad addition, I think it would really sell well.

Which goes to ask the question: Does ThinkGeek use April Fools to test market a real idea?

If you are a railroader, then this app is for you. I grew up in a model railroading family, so I know how some railroaders get into this. My Dad went from railroading, to building a miniature circus. Of course, in order to participate in train shows, the circus had to be brought in on a train.

Train lovers like a good train track. They also love a good challenge. That is what ElectroTrains is all about.

You are given a track, with 3 stations – Red, Blue and Green. The train color tells you which station to go to. When the train is empty, it turns white. At that point, you let it go through.

Touch the train to push it forward. Some trains go fast, others go slow. Don’t let one train hit another, or else the game is over.

100 Rogues is a Dungeon game where you are a knight roaming through the levels. You pick up gold, food, weapons, armor, and more. Attack the rats, bats, skeletons, wizards and other creatures in the halls.

As you keep going down, you will see transport spots which take you to another part of the level. Go up against the bigger bad guys, and gain experience to get to new levels, and new adventures.

This is a game for all you NES fans out there. This is a fun little game and the graphics are pretty decent. You can purchase upgrades in-app.

100 Rogues works on iPad and iPhone. Viewer reviews are very high, with 4 1/2 stars.

Today for game Tuesday, we have a game that gets really addictive, really fast. If you were a fan of the game Tetris (which I was – it was the reason I bought an NES back in the day), then Letris is a great alternative.

Instead of shapes dropping, you get lettered tiles. You don’t have to move them around, they will just drop. But when enough tiles drop to form a word, you can highlight the word and clear it out of the board.

As the game progresses, blocks drop faster. If the blocks stack up to the top of the game board, your game will end (just like in Tetris).

Letris also has special tiles that allow you to freeze the board, burn the first line to bring down the tiles so you can form more words, and slow down the clock so you can think of your next moves.

Letris is Free (right now) and already has a high rating. They have a second version, called Letris 2 – which allows you to make words in 7 different languages. Both games work for iPhone and iPad

After I put this review together, I found out the app was pulled from iTunes, because their servers couldn’t keep up with the game play demand. It should be back once things get rectified, so we will continue with this game Tuesday app.

Tapped Out is the game. It’s a Farming style game that uses the Simpsons. The story is the nuclear plant blew up, so now Homer is tasked with rebuilding the city. He starts by building his house, and gets Lisa, Flanders and Apu to help out at first. As game play progresses, Homer gets new buildings to build, new characters to keep up with and more tasks, like to break into the brown house to watch TV or play with his “MyPad”.

If you want to progress faster, you buy donuts to put towards new buildings, and other items. The in-app store allows you to purchase those donuts.

It’s a top downloaded app in iTunes. The app is free.

Today for Game Tuesday, we play a fun little game in SpellCraft – School of Magic. In this game, you create your Witch or Wizard, then get ready to go down in the dungeon to kill rats, bats, zombies, ooze, and other creatures that live in the depths of the earth. As you progress, you can find articles of clothing, and new items in which to make new spells so you can attack the bad things harder.

When you are in battle, you draw a card to find out your opponent. Pull a spell out of your inventory to attack with. The skill to attacking is when the spark on the wand is at the top, you send out the attack (by swiping on the screen).

You can dress up your avatar with different clothing, but that will cost you extra.

Fun little app. It’s free in the app store. Rating: 4 1/2 stars.
