In the aftermath of completing their first job, the mercs head their own ways for a week of new developments, downtime, and the daily grind. While each merc has their own obligations to meet, their week of downtime also produces some intriguing new leads and potential jobs moving forward. Ultimately, they’re drawn back to Frenchie for a new contract that brings with it great pay, but also greater danger.
Welcome to the Drunkisode - this episode is for adult audiences who are happy to hear a group of inebriated RPers stumble their way through the ongoing story. Zaf and Laramie attempt to get a good night’s sleep - some more successfully than others. The duo, in the absence of a very tired Bon, attempt to get a handle on the Wolf of Yarin, the intimidating Archmage researching the Glass Men. Join us for debaucheries both in and out of character, and see if the unlikely duo is able to sway the impressive Archmage to their cause.
The mercs attempt to reach the drug lab they’ve been hired to destroy, and discover that things might not be as simple as they first thought. A revelation from the narcotic cook places a difficult decision before our mercs - Hyper is much more addictive than the mercs thought, which poses significant consequences for the kids already hooked, and there seems to be some shadowy figure pulling the strings of the drug’s production. Tune in to see how the mercs deal with this information, and if they’re able to resolve the situation on behalf of their fixer, Frenchie.
The mercs attempt to dupe the local drug dealer into divulging info on his operation. The exclusive drug, called Hyper, has small-time distribution at the moment, but its popularity among the local kids could change that soon enough. It’s just another day in beautiful Night City as the mercs deal with the dealer and try to get a bead on the supply chain. Hopefully the fixer, Frenchie, will approve of their methods.
Talk about Episodes 1 and 2 of Cyberpunk Red and a dive into character creation.
Everyone knows the edgerunners in Night City can’t - or at least shouldn’t - do biz without a fixer. A fixer scouts jobs, curates crews, and makes sure the right people get a cut when things inevitably go sideways. The fixer in question right now is Frenchie, who is putting together a crew of no-rep lowdown mercs for what should be a simple job. They each have their own motivations and skillsets, and hopefully this ragtag bunch of strangers can work well together. There are eddies on the line, after all.
