Sam continue our Rhythm of Renewal series, the theme of WORSHIP as part of our Rhythm of Renewal series, and exploring the practice of daily devotion. As a church, we want to be intentional about how we engage with worship both in our gathered settings and in the scattered rhythms of everyday life.Worship interrupts our routines. It inconveniences our comfort. It recentres us, reminding us of what is true and what is real. Whether on a Sunday morning or in the quiet of your own space, may we be a people formed by worship — a people who give love freely to God and allow His Spirit to shape everything we do.

This week Ade continues with EMPOWER, asking what it looks like to live as a blessing. The Hebrew word for blessing (Barak) means “to empower to strength.” As followers of Jesus, we are invited to pass on God’s blessing to others through words of affirmation, acts of kindness, compassion and tangible gifts. These everyday moments can become sacred expressions of God’s love.

Drawing from John 13, where Jesus washes His disciples’ feet and calls them to do the same, we unpack how this posture of humility and service shapes who we are and how we live. Join us as we reflect on how following Jesus’ example leads us beyond ourselves — to love and serve our city in practical and sacrificial ways.

In this episode we kicks off our new Visions Series, A Church for the City where we’re exploring who we are called to be and what God is inviting us to do. In Part 1, we look at what it means to be a church that is for the city, a people shaped not just by what happens inside our walls, but by the needs, hopes, and flourishing of the place we call home.

Paul brings our series to a close by looking at Peter’s restoration in John 21. After the pain of denial, Jesus meets Peter on the shore with grace, forgiveness, and a renewal of his calling. This passage reminds us that failure is never final with Jesus, and just as Peter was recommissioned, we too are invited into a renewed life of discipleship, no matter our past mistakes.

Part three in series exploring the life of Peter, this week’s message takes us into one of the most sobering and human moments in his journey, Peter’s denial of Jesus. We trace the events of that night: Peter’s bold promises, Jesus’ sobering prediction, and the crushing reality of the rooster’s crow. Yet in the midst of denial the gaze of hope is to be found.
