  • Your Sunday News Assembly, for 10-25-26!
    WELCOME, Fellow Conspirators!

The final week of October, and the ghouls of government run loose around the world. As we go to print (to use the archaic newspaper terminology), peace-proponents are worried that Trump again will breach the US Constitution and fundamental ethics and tell US soldiers and sailors to attack Iran. The likelihood is high. But when? Before or after the Israeli elections? Before or after the US Mid-term elections?
The Administration is facilitated by a complicit Congress and media figures (esp on FOX News) who parrot the lies about Iran, the oil moving through Hormuz, and by the Zionist-loving genocide maniacs who want Israel to expand like a cancer (often, those Venn Diagrams overlap).

That news is up top, and we have a great deal more to give you. As always, please feel free to read all, or just portions, of the Assembly, to leave and return, and to SHARE the internal links and the whole release! Be sure to head to Rumble or Gardner’s X at 6 PM eastern each M-F for the news, from Liberty Conspiracy LIVE! We hope to provide as much big info for freedom fighters as we can!! ALSO, check out the new Former Star Trek Writing Fellow Channels - On YT, and on Rumble! **AND feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the Assembly, and you also can donate to help the Liberty Conspiracy, itself! IRAN

Recent Wall Street Journal reporting indicates the Pentagon has presented President Trump with options to renew intense fighting against Iran, including strikes on nuclear facilities, energy infrastructure, and Iranian-controlled islands. Trump has publicly ruled out attacks before the November 3 U.S. midterm elections while mulling targets such as the deeply buried Pickaxe Mountain (Kooh Kolang) site linked to Iran’s nuclear program; officials say the military is preparing a range of air and missile strike packages, potentially involving large conventional munitions. Speculation centers on a short, intensive campaign of several days shortly after the midterms, once additional U.S. carrier groups and assets are fully positioned, rather than earlier windows that Trump has deferred for political and oil-price reasons. Parallel reporting from other outlets describes coordination with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, including discussions of joint U.S.-Israeli operations focused on nuclear sites, missile/drone arsenals, and energy targets to pressure Tehran toward concessions on the Strait of Hormuz and its nuclear work. Iran has warned of wider retaliation against U.S. and Gulf targets. No formal decision has been reported as of Saturday night. LINK

    FUEL

In a recent Fox News interview w a compliant Laura Ingraham, Trump described the affordability crisis as a hoax, claiming prices have fallen sharply, even as Bureau of Labor Statistics data shows gasoline up 34.2 percent over the past year and overall inflation at 3.7 percent. 87 Oct is going for $4.24 per gallon atm.

MEANWHILE!!!! - Mighty Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and the Wall Street Journal have asserted that oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz now exceed or approach pre-war levels from before the February conflict. For example:

Johns Hopkins professor Steve Hanke challenges this, noting tanker traffic has collapsed—for example, 52 tankers crossed on October 6 last year versus only two this year, with similar plunges on other days. He calls the strait “for all practical purposes closed,” pointing out that Brent crude prices jumped 7 percent after a WSJ front-page claim of higher Gulf exports. “If there is so much oil coming out of the Strait, why does the price of Brent keep hitting new highs?” Hanke asks. Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson agrees the official story clashes with independent tracking data and that Iran retains effective control over who passes, rendering claims of freely restored volumes implausible amid ongoing attacks and risks.

Here is Prof Hanke with Nima Alkhorshid discussing the lack of substance in the Bessent-WSJ claims

And Mario N’s team chortles at the Bessent foolishness, as well.

    WEST BANK

After locals allegedly killed two Israeli soldiers who were enforcing the Zionist occupation, Netanyahu ordered a large-scale operation, including a cordon/lockdown of Hebron (and nearby areas such as Halhul), restricting movement for the city’s roughly 200,000–250,000 residents. Israeli forces began demolishing buildings, businesses, industrial sites, and infrastructure near the attack site and in the neighborhoods linked to the gunmen (including Ein Deir Baha, Farsh al-Hawa, and related areas). Residents were ordered to evacuate (sometimes via loudspeakers, with limited time to leave), homes were marked (e.g., with X’s), and searches and arrests were conducted. Some reports noted demolitions of structures described by Israeli authorities as illegal or posing security risks. Displacement figures vary by source (as is common in these reports). LINK AND

Palestinian officials (Hebron mayor Youssef al-Jaabari, governor Khaled Dudin, and others) reported hundreds of families displaced (roughly 150–300 families, affecting over 1,000 and up to around 2,000+ people so far), with dozens spending the night outside and plans or expectations of further displacement (e.g., potentially another ~2,500 in targeted zones covering a portion of urban land).

    ALBANIA

The government is on the brink of collapse, buuuuuuut, still ruling as we go to print.

The national government under Prime Minister Edi Rama remains in power as of this release (Oct 24 into 25). Rama, who has led the Socialist Party government since 2013 and won a fourth term in elections last year, has repeatedly rejected calls to resign. He has stated that governments change through elections (not “revolutions”), emphasized his mandate for EU accession talks (aimed at membership by 2030), and described the protests as a threat to Albania’s European path rather than to the government itself. He has blamed external actors or a “hybrid war” (including claims involving Russia and Iran) for inflaming genuine grievances over education costs, living standards, corruption, and earlier issues like a Kushner-linked coastal development. The government continues to function: it has deployed large numbers of police (reports of around 2,500 officers in Tirana on Saturday), made hundreds of arrests, used tear gas/water cannons/rubber bullets in response to violence, and maintained control of key institutions despite damage to some government buildings. There are reports of administrative reshuffling (mass resignations of directors and lower-level officials under ministries), framed by some local outlets as an “institutional cleansing,” but this does not involve the cabinet or prime minister stepping down. Protests and clashes continue (including the October 24 rally in Tirana with fireworks, stones, and police responses), with hundreds injured overall and no resolution or resignation reported. The situation is the strongest challenge to Rama in years, but the government has not collapsed or dissolved.

    IRAN

US-Iran tensions flared in the past 24 hours as President Trump stated the US is “not negotiating” with Tehran and that “something one way or another… it’ll happen fairly soon,” with many expecting action after the November midterms. In the last week, Washington has pressed forward with deployments of the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (roughly 9,000–10,000 sailors and Marines) toward the Middle East. These forces, already underway from the Pacific, are expected to arrive by late November and could give the US a third aircraft carrier presence in the region, expanding options in the conflict that began with US-Israeli strikes in late February. Iran’s IRGC Navy claimed its forces struck four oil tankers and that three others hit mines in the Strait of Hormuz, warning that continued US encouragement of shipping would extend the fight to American bases in the region. Mohsen Rezaei, head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said any new US-Israeli attack would prompt expanded strikes on oil facilities, undersea cables, data centers, and AI infrastructure across the Gulf, while President Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran will not bow to pressure but does not seek war. Key:

As peace-advocates await the decisions of the war criminal leadership in the US and Israel regarding when they cynically will strike Iranians AGAIN, the fact that Shia in numerous Mid-Eastern nations are supportive of Iran in the struggle could lead to some very stunning changes. Note here how Nima Alkhorshid explains to Daniel Davis that it is possible that if Kuwait continues to allow US forces to use Kuwaiti soil as launch-land for attacks on Iran, Iraqi Shiites who are part of the Iraqi resistance forces might move on Kuwait and attempt to overthrow the govt there.

And, Re Iran and the US. Trump claims negotiations… Nope. Nima explains

    SAUDI-ANSARALLAH (HOUTHIS, YEMEN)

Let’s recall that Saudi Arabia reignited the war by striking Sanaa International Airport on 13 July 2026 (to block an Iranian flight), ending the 2022 truce. Ansarallah responded with missile and drone attacks on Saudi airports, bases, and oil infrastructure. Here is Antiwar on the Saudi over-months slaughter of civilians in Yemen. “Saudi Attacks in Yemen Have Killed 155 Civilians Since July: Health Ministry - News From Antiwar.com” LINK
But Ansarallah has advanced on Taiz, entering western districts, securing Jabal Han and other heights, controlling all major entry points to the city of more than one million people, and holding 20 of 23 districts in the governorate while tightening the encirclement. Yemeni forces continue pressure on the three provinces of Asir, Najran, and Jizan (Jazan)—territories illegitimately seized by Saudi Arabia in the 1934 Treaty of Taif and long claimed as part of Yemen. Ansarallah strikes on Aramco sites (Yanbu, Shaybah, Jizan refinery, East-West pipeline, and headquarters) plus related infrastructure have caused significant disruption to Saudi fuel exports, forcing route changes, temporary shutdowns, and economic strain. This has fueled speculation about the vulnerability of Saudi leadership, including reports of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman remaining in secure locations amid the attacks.

    And from the WH

But what is this really about? It’s about injecting more DC into the dying housing market.
The White House’s executive order directs the Federal Housing Finance Agency (unconstitutional) to launch a pilot for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans originated after the program begins. Using automated valuations of current market prices, the “Enterprises” (the FDR-era creation of Fannie and the Johnson creation of Freddie) would proactively cancel private mortgage insurance once equity thresholds are met. Private mortgage insurance (PMI) is a temporary product bought by the borrower on conventional loans with less than 20% equity. It protects the lender (and ultimately the GSE) if the borrower defaults. Once the borrower’s equity reaches a sufficient level—normally around 20%—the risk is low enough that the insurance is no longer needed and can be canceled. The pilot simply makes that cancellation happen more automatically and proactively. It directs the Enterprises to use automated valuation models to check current home values on eligible new loans and cancel the existing private PMI once equity thresholds are met, without requiring the borrower to request it or order a new appraisal. The loan continues under the GSE’s guarantee, but without the private insurance premium. This is an acceleration of existing cancellation rules under the Homeowners Protection Act.
Meanwhile, the new so-called “restrictions on large institutional buyers of single-family homes, building on the bipartisan ‘21t Century ROAD to Housing Act,’ (passed in July)” are easy to circumvent through subsidiaries or affiliated entities. More broadly, these steps expand federal leverage over housing finance far beyond the Commerce Clause’s original purpose.
James Madison, in Federalist No. 42 and later writings, framed the power primarily as a negative check against State interference with interstate trade, not a warrant for detailed federal management of private insurance, lending rates, or property purchases. With pending home sales recently at multi-decade lows, the package—alongside earlier GSE (Fannie, Freddie - Govt Sponsored Enterprise) purchases of mortgage-backed securities—looks more like an attempt to prop up a stalled market than a free-market expansion of supply. Analyses from the Cato Institute (cato.org) and Reason (reason.com) consistently show how such interventions distort incentives and postpone genuine recovery.

Something from the COURTS - ANOTHER OBVIOUSLY BAD DECISION

”Appeals court unanimously strikes down California ‘No Vigilantes Act’ on federal grounds” LINK - This has a bearing on federalism, the fact that immigration is not a federal issue, and the fact that the so-called “Supremacy Clause” only applies to federal statutes that are constitutional, not any federal statute. If the latter were the case, why write the 9th and 10th Amendments? The California “No Vigilantes Act” (SB 805, enacted in 2025) required non-uniformed law enforcement officers operating in the state—including federal officers—to visibly display identification (agency name plus a name and/or badge number) while performing certain enforcement duties. It added California Penal Code § 13654… Key details include:

    • Core requirement (§ 13654(a)): Any non-uniformed law enforcement officer in California (defined to include federal officers) “shall visibly display identification that includes their agency and either a name or badge number or both” when performing enforcement duties, unless an exception applies. Uniformed officers were already covered by other rules on displaying ID.

    • Enforcement duties defined as “active and planned operations involving the arrest or detention of an individual, or deployment for crowd control purposes.”

    • Exceptions (narrow list in § 13654(b)): Active undercover/investigative work; certain plainclothes operations in specific state agencies (or federal equivalents); PPE that prevents display; exigent circumstances (imminent danger, escape, evidence destruction); active SWAT/tactical duties; and protective details for officials where ID would compromise safety/anonymity/tactics.

    • Penalty: Willful and knowing violation was a misdemeanor.

    • There was also a related provision allowing agencies to avoid the criminal penalties by maintaining and publicly posting a compliant written identification policy.

The law was signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom in September 2025 (effective January 1, 2026, subject to litigation) as part of a package responding to federal immigration enforcement operations (especially ICE). It aimed to increase transparency and accountability amid concerns about plainclothes or masked agents conducting arrests, detentions, and crowd-control activities without clear identification. A companion “No Secret Police Act” (SB 627) restricted face coverings that conceal identity. On October 14, this unanimous Ninth Circuit panel (in United States v. California, No. 26-926) reversed a district court and ordered a preliminary injunction barring enforcement of § 10 of the Act (the ID requirement in Penal Code § 13654) against the United States, federal agencies, and federal officers. The court held it violates the Supremacy Clause’s intergovernmental immunity doctrine by directly regulating federal governmental functions (how and when federal officers identify themselves during law enforcement operations) without congressional authorization. The panel stated the U.S. was “certain to succeed” and that “no set of circumstances exists under which the Act would be valid” as applied to federal officers. The injunction specifically blocks application to federal officers; the ruling does not address the law’s potential application to state or local officers.

    WAR - STATUSIRAN

In the past day, reports based on US officials have detailed joint American-Israeli plans for a short, intensive military operation against Iran after the November 3 midterm elections. Targets would include energy infrastructure, nuclear facilities, and missile and drone capabilities, with preparations involving stepped-up exercises over Iraq and meetings between War Criminal Pete Hegseth and War Criminal Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The United States is assembling significant forces, including multiple aircraft carriers and Marines, expected in place by early November, while officials have discussed options such as the massive GBU-43/B bomb against sites like Pickaxe Mountain.
These moves represent unconstitutional US military aggression—lacking clear congressional authorization for war—or deep entanglement with Israeli plans that risk broader regional destruction. Iran has warned of severe retaliation, including claims of a powerful new weapon. Diplomacy remains fragile amid ongoing tensions, underscoring how such escalations prioritize force over lasting resolution and endanger civilian lives across West Asia.

    AND… GAZA

Israeli forces today killed at least four Palestinians across Gaza, including a young girl, through airstrikes, gunfire, and other attacks, according to local health officials and media reports. Incidents included a strike on a vehicle in Gaza City’s Tal al-Hawa area, gunfire near Jabalia refugee camp, and an attack killing a man on a bicycle in Khan Younis. LINK
These deaths raise the toll since a ceasefire took effect roughly a year ago to about 1,538 Palestinians killed, with the overall figure since October 2023 exceeding 74,400. Israel claims the strikes target Hamas rearming in violation of the truce and continues expanding control inside the territory amid rubble and displacement. LINK
Supporting peace means recognizing this as ongoing aggression that prolongs suffering, with the US deeply tied through military aid and political support to a partner engaged in such operations. Daily violence under a nominal ceasefire highlights the failure of force-based approaches and the urgent need for genuine accountability and de-escalation to protect civilians.

    YEMEN-SAUDI

Ansarallah Advances and Strikes Against Saudi ArabiaAnsarallah (Houthis) claimed fresh ballistic missile and drone operations over the past 48 hours targeting Saudi sites, including the Defense Ministry headquarters in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam (where one person was killed and others injured), Abha airport, and an Aramco facility in Yanbu. LINK
This follows territorial gains along Yemen’s Red Sea coast, including control near the Bab al-Mandab strait, and repeated deep strikes on Saudi airports and oil infrastructure that have disrupted operations and caused casualties. Saudi-backed forces continue a counteroffensive with air support. Britain has offered limited defensive assistance, such as Typhoon jets for missions and refueling support, while the US provides intelligence and targeting aid but has so far declined direct strikes; President Trump has indicated possible further involvement.
From a peace standpoint, these developments reflect how US and English support for Saudi military efforts—tied to broader unconstitutional or aggressive regional policies—fuels a cycle of retaliation rather than resolution.

Independent trackers (including Cato’s own Government Ownership Dashboard and sources such as theoagseo.com) counted roughly 35–36 unique companies as of mid-to-late October 2026, before or around the latest announcement. Counts vary depending on methodology: unique companies versus individual deals/awards, finalized stakes versus letters of intent (LOIs), and whether other agencies (e.g., Development Finance Corporation) or contingent instruments are included. The activity began in earnest around mid-2025 and has accelerated under the second Trump term, primarily via the Department of Commerce (often under CHIPS Act R&D authorities) and the Department of War/Defense, typically as minority, non-controlling, non-voting positions in exchange for grants, loans, or other support. Exact legal authority for equity has been contested, as the underlying statutes generally do not expressly authorize ownership stakes.
A complete enumerated list of all ~36–40 is extensive and best consulted on the live trackers (Cato’s Government Ownership Dashboard or theoagseo.com’s sourced tracker). Most stakes are described only as “minority, non-controlling, non-voting,” with precise percentages or share counts disclosed mainly for larger or finalized deals.
Latest four (announced October 22, 2026, CHIPS R&D letters of intent totaling up to $389 million)
These are energy-semiconductor and critical-materials R&D awards. In each case the Department of Commerce receives a minority, non-controlling, non-voting equity stake as a condition of the award; exact percentages are generally not disclosed in the announcement.

    • Helion (fusion energy company, Washington-based): Up to $175 million to develop high-voltage power semiconductors and advanced energy power modules for pulsed-power applications in fusion generators (powering/controlling/harvesting energy from the magnets). Helion has indicated a $175 million non-voting interest tied to its recent preferred-stock valuation.

    • Commonwealth Fusion Systems (fusion energy): Up to $85 million for semiconductors supporting radio-frequency plasma heating, power electronics, fusion diagnostics, and radiation-hardened electronics.

    • Vertical Semiconductor (startup focused on vertical gallium nitride/GaN power devices, spun out of MIT): Up to $73 million to advance vertical GaN power semiconductors for more efficient/compact power delivery in advanced computing and data centers (including demonstration for a high-power AI rack).

    • Sibelco (materials company, parent based in Belgium; focuses on quartz and related minerals): Up to $56 million to develop next-generation purification/finishing for ultra-high-purity quartz used in semiconductor crystal-growth crucibles and related hardware.

Notable prior examples (selected from the broader portfolio)

    • Intel: Approximately 9.9% common equity (up to ~433 million shares) plus a contingent warrant, funded by converting ~$8.9 billion in prior CHIPS grants and Secure Enclave funds (Commerce Department).

      markets.ft.com

    • GlobalFoundries: Multiple awards; reported stakes totaling roughly 7–8% (including ~1.8% from a quantum foundry award and an additional ~4% linked to reallocation of prior CHIPS funding; Commerce).

    • MP Materials (rare-earth mining/magnets): Convertible preferred plus warrants approximating ~15% as-converted, tied to a $400 million Defense Department investment.

    • Others span quantum computing (e.g., Rigetti, D-Wave, Quantinuum, PsiQuantum, IBM-related foundry efforts), critical minerals (e.g., Lithium Americas, Trilogy Metals, USA Rare Earth, Vulcan Elements), steel (U.S. Steel golden share), nuclear (Westinghouse participation interest), and additional semiconductors/materials firms. Funding attached across the portfolio runs into the tens of billions of dollars in grants, loans, and converted incentives, with Intel the single largest.

Stake sizes and final terms for many (especially LOIs) remain undisclosed or provisional pending definitive agreements. For the most current and detailed company-by-company sourcing, refer to that Cato dashboard or, again, to theoagseo.com tracker, which are updated as new information or finalizations appear.

AND OUR SPECIAL REPORT! - PAY-TO-PLAY, TRUMP EDITION!

Accusations of “pay-to-play” arrangements involving companies and the Trump Administration (primarily the second term) come mainly from Democratic lawmakers, watchdog groups such as CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) and Public Citizen, and media reporting. These typically highlight large donations to Trump-linked projects (White House ballroom, Freedom 250, inaugural fund, presidential library, etc.), settlements, or direct payments that coincide with government contracts, regulatory relief, dropped or softened enforcement, policy favors, or access. Most are framed as correlations raising questions of influence rather than proven illegal quid pro quo; the administration and companies generally deny impropriety and describe the contributions as voluntary or legitimate business activity. LINK
Frequently cited companies (donations to multiple Trump pet projects) CREW identified these as contributors to three or more such projects, noting that most have government contracts, pending matters, or policy interests:

    • Meta (top, linked to six)

    • Amazon, Coinbase, Google/YouTube (four each)

    • RTX (Raytheon), Lockheed Martin, Mastercard, Exiger, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Altria Group, BlackRock, Nvidia, Palantir, Comcast, Chevron (three each)

All of the above have or seek government business, face or have faced enforcement issues, or pursue specific policies (e.g., contracts, deregulation, investment support). Executives from most have had meetings or travel with Trump.
White House ballroom donors (widely described as a pay-to-play vehicle).
Public Citizen and reporting list corporate donors including many of the above plus others such as Apple, Microsoft, Booz Allen Hamilton, Caterpillar, HP, Micron Technology, NextEra Energy, Parsons, Ripple, Reynolds American, T-Mobile, Tether America, Union Pacific Railroad, and Hard Rock International. Analyses note that a large share are federal contractors; some reports link more than half of identified donors to tens of billions in new or increased contracts in relevant periods, alongside cases of suspended or closed enforcement actions. Specific named cases:

    • Base Group (Korean conglomerate; affiliate Korea Aluminium): Democratic senators (Warren, Blumenthal, Kim) investigated a $2 million payment to a Trump holding company (described as related to an unannounced golf project) while the affiliate faced Commerce Department tariff/anti-dumping scrutiny that could sharply raise duties. Critics raised bribery/pay-to-play concerns over timing and secrecy; the parties described it as a legitimate development fee.

    • Texas Armament & Technology (TXAT): Involved in a disputed internal Trump-circle matter. Allegations (from Alina Habba and her husband Turhan Mildon) claimed a ~$17.6 million transfer (linked to a Congo-related deal) included a portion intended for the Kennedy Center in exchange for access/VIP treatment, directed by Ric Grenell. The White House ordered an internal look; Grenell has denied the claims and the texts. This is more of an access/donation dispute among associates than a classic corporate-to-administration arrangement.

      mediaite.com

    • Crypto-related firms (e.g., Coinbase, Ripple, Kraken, Robinhood, Tether): Frequently cited for inaugural or project donations followed by dropped or reduced SEC/enforcement cases or favorable policy shifts. Binance-related figures appear in pardon discussions tied to family financial benefits.

    • Nvidia and AMD: Agreed to give the U.S. government a 15% cut of revenues from certain chip sales to China in exchange for export licenses. Critics and some reporting describe this as a novel pay-to-play or quid-pro-quo arrangement.

    • Others appearing in related reporting include United Airlines and Chevron (Freedom 250 donations timed near policy or contract developments), Salesforce, ServiceNow, and various defense/tech contractors.

These lists are drawn from public reporting, congressional letters, and watchdog analyses rather than court findings of criminal pay-to-play. Similar patterns of contractor donations and subsequent awards have been noted under prior administrations, though critics argue the scale, personalization of projects, and direct financial ties differ under Trump. For the most current or detailed sourcing, the CREW and Public Citizen reports and contemporaneous coverage of the Base Group and TXAT matters are my primary references.

    BREAKING:

    ALBANIA FALLS?

Albania’s “Flamingo Revolution” has escalated into a youth-led uprising against Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government. Protests that began in May 2026 over a luxury coastal resort linked to Jared Kushner’s Affinity Partners—planned for the protected flamingo habitats of Sazan Island and the Zvernec wetlands—have grown into nationwide clashes. Students and young Albanians, citing corruption, high education costs, lack of jobs, and opaque deals favoring foreign investors, demand Rama’s resignation. Police have used tear gas, water cannons, and rubber bullets; hundreds have been arrested or injured as demonstrators attack government buildings. Public anger centers on the project as a symbol of elite interests overriding local environmental and economic needs. LINK

    US ECONOMY

    TRUMP PANDERS W YOUR MONEY

President Trump’s $8 billion Harvest Fuel Relief Program, announced at a Kansas rally days before the midterms, will reimburse farmers for a portion of losses from diesel prices that have roughly doubled amid disruptions from the Iran war. The money is drawn from the Commodity Credit Corporation, the same financing vehicle the Agriculture Department uses for crop insurance and disaster payments.
That institution was created in October 1933 by the Roosevelt Administration. Through Executive Order 6340 (hint, not constitutional), the CCC was established under Delaware law to extend non-recourse loans to farmers so they could hold crops off the market and stabilize prices during the Depression. It operated alongside the Agricultural Adjustment Act, which paid growers to reduce production and raise farm incomes. The Corporation was later transferred to the Department of Agriculture and given a permanent federal charter in 1948; its core function of supporting agricultural prices and incomes has remained intact. Nearly a century later, the CCC is again the vehicle for emergency payments tied to foolish administration policies. This is the second such multi-billion-dollar bailout in two years. While Roosevelt’s unconstitutional programs addressed chronic oversupply, even paying pig farmers to kill swint, today’s aid targets acute input-cost spikes caused by TRUMP, yet both rely on the same premise that YOUR resources will cushion farmers when dumb govt policies turn against them.

    HOUSING STARTS DROP

Yep. Housing starts fell 5.2% in September to a 1.221 million annual rate, missing expectations of 1.305 million, with single-family units down 4.6% and multifamily off 6.7%. Year over year, starts dropped 7.4%, while building permits edged down just 0.2% to 1.400 million. Homebuilder confidence hit a 2012 low at 29 on the NAHB index, driven by weak buyer traffic and sales expectations, especially in the South and West.
Peter Schiff noted the surprise wasn’t the drop, but that anyone expected a rise amid 7.4% rates pressuring supply into 2027.

    PENDING HOME SALES FALL

This drop of 7.3% month-over-month in September, to a record-low index of 66.0, is the weakest reading since data began in 2001.

    • The National Association of Realtors data showed declines in all four regions, missing economists’ -0.5% forecast, driven by 30-year mortgage rates climbing to 7.40%.

    • This forward indicator for closed sales reflects buyer hesitation amid elevated borrowing costs, with pending contracts down 11.3% from a year earlier.

MORTGAGE DEFAULTS, FORECLOSURES, RISE EVEN AS HOME SALE PRICES RISE?

If home sales are rising, then why are mortgage apps declining? This is strange… Let’s investigate…
U.S. mortgage distress is rising in late 2026 as elevated rates and weak demand pressure borrowers. Mortgage applications remain near multi-decade lows, approaching levels last seen around 1995, according to analysts tracking Mortgage Bankers Association data. Recent weekly readings show steep year-over-year drops, including declines exceeding 37% in some periods, with both purchase and refinance activity sharply suppressed amid 30-year rates near 7.5%. LINK
Foreclosure activity has accelerated in the most recent months. ATTOM reported 40,277 properties with foreclosure filings in August 2026, up 13% from a year earlier and 1% from July. Completed foreclosures (bank repossessions, or REOs) reached 5,794 in August—a 42% increase from August 2025 and 22% above July. July filings stood at roughly 39,900, up about 10% year-over-year, with REOs also higher annually. LINK
These levels exceed the same periods in prior years. First-half 2026 foreclosure filings totaled 227,548, up 21% from the first half of 2025 and 28% from the first half of 2024. Completed foreclosures have risen even more sharply on a year-over-year basis in recent months, though overall volumes remain below historical crisis peaks and national delinquency rates (around 3.5% per ICE data) sit under pre-pandemic norms. The trend is concentrated in certain states and among some government-backed loans, reflecting sustained affordability strains. LINK

    WAR

    IRAN

    Trump keeps lying.

And Trump and Netanyahu continued to promote each other, and to promote the idea of ongoing hostilities against Iran.

Warmaniac Hegseth’s unannounced Monday visit to Israel’s Ovda Air Base included talks with war-crim Netanyahu on Iran, as Israel raised military alert levels to the highest and suspended troop leaves. President Trump yesterday endorsed Netanyahu, with Netanyahu stressing a shared ‘job to finish’ against Iran during their PR-stunt call. The timing, ahead of Israel’s October 27 elections and U.S. midterms, has sparked speculation on potential strikes, though no plans are confirmed and outcomes remain undisclosed.

AND, just before Heggy landed, the US engaged in another provocation of Iran. Much like what Israel always does with its neighbors, prior to using the responses as pretexts for expansion via military attack.

HOW ABOUT LEAVING IRANIANS ALONE? The assassination of the Ayatollah and most of his family already has pushed many in Iran to see nuke weapons as the only viable option to be left free of US-Israeli attacks.

    YEMEN-SAUDI - THE MECCA ANGLE

Ansarallah forces made big moves in the last 24 hours.

AND here is more that we can report on MECCA/MEKKER LINK

The full text of the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement (also called the Mecca Pact), signed August 7 in Mecca by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, was made public today as Turkey submitted it to parliament for ratification. The 16-article pact, whose details had been limited to a high-level joint statement, commits the “Core Parties” to collective defence while spelling out cooperation mechanisms, institutions and exit rules.
Article 1 requires the parties to safeguard one another’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and internationally recognised borders, using “all necessary means” to eliminate threats or dangers.
Article 2, the core collective-defence plank modelled on NATO’s Article 5, states that an externally originating armed attack on any party is an attack on all. The parties must immediately assist the attacked member “making full use of all means of mutual assistance,” with the scope and nature determined after an objective assessment of needs and limited to available resources (including military capabilities). It invokes the right of self-defence under UN Charter Article 51.
Articles 3–7 broaden practical cooperation: close defence, defence-industry and security ties; regular consultations and joint measures on security threats; operational-level counter-terrorism efforts; personnel exchanges, joint training, exercises and interoperability in peace and war; and defence-industry collaboration on joint production, R&D, technology sharing, training and expertise.
Article 8 creates a Strategic Political and Defence Committee (foreign and defence ministers plus chiefs of staff) that meets twice yearly, with optional annual leaders’ meetings. It establishes a secretariat headquartered in Saudi Arabia (first Secretary-General to be Pakistani, on a three-year rotational basis) and allows accession of new parties by consensus of the Core Parties.
Articles 9–10 mandate intelligence sharing through secure channels and logistical support (weapons, ammunition, fuel, spare parts and equipment) in peacetime, wartime or emergencies, subject to availability.
Articles 11–15 address legal basis, non-prejudice to existing treaties, confidentiality of classified information, amicable dispute settlement and amendment by unanimous Core Parties agreement.
Article 16 provides that the agreement enters into force when the final instrument of ratification is deposited with the secretariat, remains in force indefinitely, and permits withdrawal only after 10 years from entry into force with at least three months’ written notice. Ongoing projects and confidentiality obligations survive termination or withdrawal. Turkish officials have stressed the pact is defensive, not offensive; Turkey’s expected contribution centers on equipment, intelligence and weapons systems rather than large-scale combat deployments. The text was published by outlets including Middle East Eye and Türkiye Today as parliamentary consideration began.

    UKRAINE-RUSSIA

Something odd about Trump’s statement here. He says he doesn’t like to pull tricks on other nations when they are negotiating. Surely, the folks who saw Ukraine (with US help) attack Russian jets in Siberia two years ago might beg to differ. Surely, the Iranians might beg to differ.

And Trump continues to talk dirty against Zelinsky… What do you think of this?

    And of this?

THE ZIONISTA SPEECH POLICE - KASH PATEL, SEC 230 VERSION - The NEW POSTS GO BACK TO SEPT 2025

BUT! Since lots of people are mentioning the exchanges Kash had with hardcore Zionista Jared Moskowitz, let’s explore… Here is part of the exchange.

Section 230 of the 1996 Telecom Act established two major federal policies regarding online “speech”. First, and abiding by the Constitution, it provided for ISPs and website owners to be shielded from cross-state defamation suits based on what someone might have posted about someone else using THEIR ISP or website. That conforms with the constitutional provision allowing Congress to set up the court system above the state supreme courts, but below the US Supreme Court, and that includes determining what KINDS of cases can enter the federal courts. But the other is a provision protecting ISPs and website owners against state action for what the states determine to be “indecency.” As much as I oppose statism in a normative sense, I will note that for the “constitutionalists”, the First Amendment actually ALLOWS states to create speech codes, dependent on what their state constitutions say. Here, Kash wants to use a provision that long has alarmed me and others to the fact that the Section 230 “speech protections” are carrots and sticks in the DC hands, and the clause in Sec 230 that says the ISPs and websites can have these protections as long as they operate in what the gubment calls “good faith”, well, that’s obviously a way to claim arbitrary power over speech the government doesn’t like, and to see them drop those previous protections.

    WAR

    The latest unconfirmed zip-line signal.

The Canard: Iran is the “biggest sponsor of state-terror” is utterly unreal. The US literally funded not just Al Queda, but ISIS, HTS, l Nusra, numerous meso-American terror groups, tribal warlords in Africa, and more. Iran’s support for Hamas or Hezbollah represents a backing of RESISTANCE to Israeli and US expansionism, and the “killed X number of Americans” is based on the Iranian responses to US bases IN THE MIDDLE EAST, from which the US has launched assassinations and further attempts to destabilize Iran’s society.

And Steve Hanke offers a stark, dark fear of the US-Israeli madness after the elections

@DailyCaller:\n\n“As was the case when Trump first initiated his war of choice on Iran, a reignition of the war would begin with the Israelis leading the attack and the U.S. being sucked in. If this happens, the Iranians will counterattack and destroy all that…","username":"steve_hanke","name":"Steve Hanke","profile_image_url":"https://pbs.substack.com/profile_images/915395033871867905/3zbE7bAT_normal.jpg","date":"2026-10-19T14:40:53.000Z","photos":[],"quoted_tweet":{},"reply_count":2,"retweet_count":13,"like_count":38,"impression_count":9624,"expanded_url":null,"video_url":null,"video_preview_media_key":null,"belowTheFold":true}" data-component-name="Twitter2ToDOM">

Mario Nawfal and former St Dept employee Aaron David Miller discuss what Miller expects, no mediation will work given Trump’s tie to Israel and given Iran’s consistent position re ending to the Iranian occupation of Gaza, West Bank, and Lebanon.

I want to bring this in from the Sunday News Assembly:

“Some speculate that Trump will use an MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Burst, 21,6000 lb bomb) on Iran. But that won’t do anything to what is in Pickaxe Mt. (not a nuke weapons facility, and if it were, the US still has no moral or ethical authority to make you pay to bomb it). The logistics of getting the MOAB over its target are tricky, since it only can be delivered on a slow-flying C-130. On Friday, Eric Peters gave me a call, and we had a great opportunity to chat about the possibility that Trump knows he is striking nothing close to a bomb-making facility, that he knows he couldn’t destroy such a place with MOAB, anyway, but that he will use it, then claim he has achieved victory, allowing him to “negotiate” a close with Iran. On the flipside, what if you were in a position of political power in Iran? With foresight, one might expect the US to try an attack on the mountain, and, even though it’s a remote location, the blast could kill many innocent people. What kinds of thoughts must one handle when thinking about whether to fight back by downing the C-130 (inviting heavier retaliation from the US), or to look like the military is fighting back but misses, and thus allowing Trump to drop the useless killing machine, and giving Iran an opportunity to engage the US in some kind of rekindled negotiations? Just ugly possibilities, but the likelihood that Trump WILL use a MOAB against Iran is only dampened by the C-130 logistics prob. Here are Anthony Aguilar and Brandon Weichart on Mario Nawfal’s stream today, discussing just this set of factors.” (see below, which also was posted in our Sunday News Assembly…)

ISRAELI EXPANSIONIST/DECEPTIVE “PEACE” MINDSET PUBLISHED BY IDF HONCHO

Peace advocates appropriately are dissecting the unctuous Israeli Maj. Gen. (res.) Tamir Hayman’s October 12, 2026, INSS analysis, “The ‘New’ National Security Concept: Conceptualization and Questions for Discussion.” Hayman (former head of IDF Military Intelligence, now INSS executive director) describes principles he infers from post-October 7, 2023 Israeli policy. Typical to the Israeli MO since 1948, we see:

    • Peace as a means rather than an end: Arrangements with Arab actors are treated as temporary and potentially deceptive; a meaningful peace is viewed as unattainable in the Middle East.

    • War as foundational: War is essential to national security and cannot be replaced by peace; preventive war is preferable; the constant presence of war is treated as an asset (with a reference to “Silence is filth”).

    • Related elements: Primacy of offense/preemption and forward defense zones, skepticism of Arab state cohesion, Jewish identity prioritized over democratic norms, and reduced reliance on the US.

Hayman is analyzing observed policy trends and raising questions, not personally “pushing for constant war.” However, he offers formidable evidence of Zionista preference for permanent or perpetual conflict:

    • Annahar: “Israel’s new security doctrine: Is permanent war replacing peace?” Emphasizes the move from war as exceptional to a permanent necessity, peace as temporary, and related concerns about regional weakening and identity.

    • Middle East Monitor and similar pieces: Highlight the characterization of war as a normal/permanent condition and peace as a trap or non-goal. LINK

    • Antiwar.com (via Trita Parsi): Summarizes the principles under the heading “Israel’s New – and Terrifying – Security Doctrine,” noting that Hayman describes an existing reality rather than advocating it, and argues it is incompatible with typical Western alliances. LINK

Here are Nima Alkhorshid and Lawrence Wilkerson on that matter!

    ZIONISM v TRUTH

Alan Dershowitz claims America is essentially a Jewish creation rooted in the Torah, yet the Torah offers no foundation for natural, God-given rights of the kind asserted in the Declaration of Independence. Its laws are divine commands within a covenant community—regulating slavery, prescribing death penalties for religious and moral offenses, and subordinating individual liberty to collective and ritual obligations. Nothing in the text establishes life, liberty, or property as inalienable endowments prior to positive law. The ancient Israelites themselves rejected limited, non-monarchical rule. In 1 Samuel 8 they demanded a king “like all the other nations.” Samuel warned that the king would conscript their sons, seize their fields and produce, and reduce them to servants; they insisted anyway. God granted the request, and monarchy followed. American founders, by contrast, designed a republic with separated powers, enumerated rights, and checks precisely to prevent the concentration of authority the Israelites chose. Their intellectual sources were classical republicanism, English common law, and Enlightenment natural-rights theory, not Torah theocracy.
By the way, even if Dershowitz claims that the Mosaic laws are tied to US constitutionalism (easy to consider, but the QED of statism destroying most of the Ten Commandments undercuts all pro-state arguments on that level), the Zionist movement is based more on the Talmud, or constantly revised oral pronouncements that accommodate claims of Zionist power and categorize non-Jews as animals.

Trump claims that negotiations are going well. This is absurd. “‘Great progress’ in Ukraine peace talks – Trump — RT World News” LINK
Rubio might want you to forget that, as a Senator, he repeatedly supported arming and funding Ukraine. He literally SPONSORED such unconstitutional legislation.

    • Sponsored legislation for weapons: On March 1, 2022, Rubio introduced S.3724, the Ukraine Emergency Appropriations Act of 2022. It proposed $1 billion in emergency defense funding for specific systems for Ukraine, including Stinger missiles, Javelin anti-tank weapons, AT4 launchers, other man-portable missiles/rockets, small arms, grenade launchers, and ammunition, plus humanitarian aid.

    • Voted for the major $40 billion package: On May 19, 2022, he voted Yea on H.R. 7691, the Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022 (passed 86-11). This was the largest early package and funded military aid, weapons, training, replenishment of U.S. stocks (including systems like Stingers and Javelins), economic support, and humanitarian assistance.

    • Co-sponsored related measures:

      • The Never Yielding Europe’s Territory (NYET) Act (S.3652, February 2022), with dozens of Republican colleagues. It authorized and expedited security assistance (including Foreign Military Financing for lethal aid like air defense and anti-armor systems), a Ukraine Resistance Fund, and Lend-Lease authority, while imposing costs on Russia. Rubio described it as necessary so countries could not simply invade neighbors without consequences.

        congress.gov

      • The Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act (which became law), which streamlined the President’s ability to lend or lease defense articles to Ukraine.

He also publicly supported providing Ukraine with military equipment and training after Russia’s earlier actions (e.g., in 2014).

    WIDER PICTURE

The trend in DC is towards more systematic and entrenched fascism. “American Free Enterprise Is Under Attack | Cato Institute” LINK

Yet, this caricature, from the utterly unconstitutional and immoral “Small Business Admin” tries to portray US govt-backed bank insurance and govt-backed loans and handouts to be “free markets” in what she frivolously calls the “American tradition”, as if she knows what that is, and as if the fascist cronyism we see in so many areas (from the feds co-owning 34 companies, to the feds handing out capital for special pork projects, to the feds handing cash to M-I contractors, to the feds back-scratching state politicians with oodles of cash, to the feds sending cash to Israel, etc) is remotely characteristically similar to the early Republic. Curiously, Hamilton’s poisonous influence WAS very mercantilist in this way, but this is Hamilton on proverbial steroids. You’ll see early in this exchange that she claims the US added 200K new jobs in the last three months. This is bogus. We just saw last week that the July figures had to be revised downwards by 30K… We’re going to hit on pieces of this nonsense each night this week, especially to discuss the fascist nature of all of these government programs and loan guarantees. Right now, we will look at her fake employment claims. REALITY: From the September 2026 Employment Situation release (BLS, early October 2026):

    • July 2026: revised to –10,000 (from an earlier +21,000).

    • August 2026: revised to +133,000 (from an initial +162,000).

    • September 2026: +29,000 (little changed; preliminary).

Combined: roughly 152,000. NOT 200,000. (Here is an amplified version we recorded and produced for you):

    AND…

    About the ABOVE!!
The ITEP analysis mentioned in that USA Today report underscores that President Trump’s tariffs represent the largest U.S. tax increase in roughly 70 years—a protectionist levy paid overwhelmingly by American consumers and businesses, not foreign exporters. While the One Big Beautiful Bill Act delivered some income-tax relief skewed toward higher earners, ITEP finds these cuts were more than offset for nearly everyone except the top 1% by higher prices from tariffs (plus other factors), leaving middle-income households about $1,700 worse off in 2026 and the bottom fifth $750 poorer. Tariffs function as a broad, regressive consumption tax that distorts trade, raises costs across the economy, and reduces overall efficiency—classic free-market reasons to prefer open markets and neutral taxation over targeted industrial policy. Income-tax cuts cannot fully neutralize a historic tariff tax hike borne by ordinary households.

MEANWHILE, federal spending is pushing up the deficit, even as it wipes out jobs and savings.

Buuuuuut. Kevin “Cheshire Cat” Hassett speaks like the Mad Hatter, continuing to lie and spew utter nonsense.

…Hassett’s claim that rising hotel visits, flights, and car purchases signal a boom is not supported by the volume data. These metrics rose through 2024 and into 2025 before softening or declining in 2026 relative to prior peaks. LINK
U.S. hotel occupancy held near 63% in both 2023 and 2024, according to CoStar and related reports. It fell to 62.3% in 2025, with RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) down 0.3% to $100.02—the first annual declines in occupancy and RevPAR since 2020.
In 2026, first-half room nights rose about 11.4 million versus 2025, and full-year occupancy is now forecast around 63.1% with RevPAR growth of roughly 4.4%, aided by events such as the World Cup. Recent weekly figures have reached the mid-to-high 60s, but the annual path remains a modest recovery after the 2025 drop rather than a sustained acceleration beyond 2023–2024 levels. Air travel followed a similar pattern. TSA screened 858.5 million passengers in 2023, 904.1 million in 2024, and a record 906.7 million in 2025. LINK
Through early October 2026, throughput totaled 690.5 million, down 0.8% from the same period in 2025, with July systemwide passengers down 1.8% year over year and no new daily records.
Light-vehicle sales totaled about 15.5 million in 2023, rose to roughly 16.0 million in 2024, and reached 16.2 million in 2025. In 2026, the year-to-date SAAR through September stood at 16.1 million, down 1.9% from the prior year, with the September rate at 16.0 million (down 3.6% year over year). Full-year forecasts point to around 16.0 million. LINK
Across these categories, activity is not clearly rising in 2026 versus 2023–2024 or even 2025 peaks. The data undercuts the claim of broad, behavior-driven economic strength.

HOSPITAL PRICES SINCE 2000:AND, FORECLSURES, REPOSSESSIONS - AUCTIONS - AS WE HAVE DISCUSSED, ARE RISING

Completed foreclosures jumped 42% from August 2025 and 22% from July, reaching 5,794 repossessions amid 40,277 total filings nationwide—one every 3,569 housing units. Texas led with 1,835 repossessions, while South Carolina had the highest rate at one per 1,547 units; states like Nevada, Florida, and Maryland followed closely. Steep rises in starts hit Tennessee (145%), Oklahoma (102%), and others, with discussions noting broader delinquencies in credit cards and cars, though volumes stay below pre-pandemic levels.

High rates have created the start of what some pop analysts call a “buyer’s market” where sellers outnumber buyers by over 60%, enabling more negotiations and price cuts but suppressing overall transaction volume. Buuuut, with int rates on the 10-yr US Treasury at 5.15% and the 30 year at 5.5%, with some mortgage rates at 7%, people would be well advised to wait for those home prices to drop even more, and to see the foreclosure auctions in full swing.

Conflicts Forum’s SubstackThe 'War of Grand Design' Transforms to More Narrowly Bolster US HegemonyThe paradigm shifts. In it, he argues that the long-running elite “Grand Design” (a networked, supra-national project of manufacturing consent for wars of imposed compliance to lock in post-Cold War US primacy) has hit hard limits. Traditional instruments of hegemony are failing against states with alternatives, producing an “emperor has no clothes” moment. The strategy is therefore transforming into a narrower, more open effort to bolster US/Western hegemony—exemplified by Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s recent Athens speech—while the deeper conflict remains one aimed at eliminating “civilisational states” that embody different worldviews. Here, he discusses it with Judge Napolitano

    Key points from the piece:

    • The paradigm has shifted. The elite stratum that pursued a global Grand Design through engineered consent for compliance wars has run up against the limits of its power; the failure is now visible.

    • Core tools that sustained the post-Cold War US elite worldview (in which continued US dictation of the global blueprint was treated as inevitable) are weakening: the US military, the dollar system, the “credit trap,” Bretton Woods institutions, shock economic therapy, and currency wars.

    • These tools are less effective against states that possess alternatives—China, Russia, and Iran are cited as clear examples. Economic, financial, and kinetic wars no longer reliably produce quick victories; “Quick victories for the Matrix are no longer so readily available.”

    • Rubio’s 7 October 2026 speech in Athens (delivered with the Acropolis in the background) is presented as emblematic of the turn: he openly praised colonialism, engaged in what Crooke calls egregious historical erasures, asserted that the West is “the greatest civilization in the world,” and called for military force to “maintain its place at the head of the world” and to defend that civilization “with the same passion as our forefathers did.”

    • The conflict’s deeper nature is not merely conventional power politics. The “One Global Government Grand Design” is framed as a war to eliminate civilisational states that offer a different consciousness or way of understanding the world. Suggesting those states can simply “stand up more forcefully” misses this dimension, according to the argument.
