FIREARMS, VIOLENT CRIMEAUSTRLIA - Bondi Beach saw the return of OZ mass slaughter, and saw Benjamin Netanyahu attack the Aussie PM for supporting Palestine (Netanyahu implies that the attack came as a result of the PM’s position, which, of course, makes no sense, and is incredibly insulting, coming from the man who (along with others in the Israeli gubment) is responsible for the genocide in Gaza). It also saw Netanyahu claim that a man who disarmed one of the attackers (likely saving many lives) was Jewish, despite the widely seen fact that the man is a Muslim. Aaaand, despite the initial post-Port Author buy-back in 1996-97, violent crime per-capita ROSE, and… despite the SECOND highly publicized gun-grab in 2003 ALSO didn’t decrease violent crime. IN fact, violent crime in OZ did not go back to the pre-gun-grab levels until more than ten years later, after many Aussie’s flouted the statutes and got black market guns. Here is a segment from what I wrote on the subject in 2018. ‘As John Lott has correctly noted, violent crime increased immediately after the “ban,” and homicides and armed robberies continued the upward trend until 2000, never dropping below 1996 levels until after 2010 (in the case of armed robberies, they still hadn’t gone below 1996 levels by 2010).
As Miguel Faria, MD. Noted, after the Aussie “ban” was insituted:
That same year in the state of Victoria, there was a 300 percent increase in homicides committed with firearms. The following year, robberies increased almost 60 percent in South Australia. By 1999, assaults had increased in New South Wales by almost 20 percent. Two years following the gun ban/confiscation, armed robberies rose by 73 percent, unarmed robberies by 28 percent, kidnappings by 38 percent, assaults by 17 percent and manslaughter by 29 percent, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
John Lott also notes that gun ownership eventually returned to per-capita levels that mirrored the rates prior to the “ban.” So, first, the claim that the “ban” saw a resultant decrease in violent crime, including homicides, is false. Second, violent crime rates only began to decrease years later, as guns returned to Australian hands against the wishes of the politicians writing the laws.’
As I noted in a subsequent piece for MRCTV (LINK), a piece that weaves in information from that 2018 article and adds more data: ‘And, as I observed in the same article, violent crime, including homicides and gun-related violent crime, increased in the UK following its government “banning” most firearms in 1997.
As Ryan McMacken writes for the Mises Institute, despite highly restrictive gun “control” laws imposed in 1972, Ireland saw an increasing homicide rate per 100,000 through 2014, nearly doubling what it was at the time the magical unicorn of the “gun ban” statute was passed.
A similar result was seen in Canada after the Canadian government instituted gun “control” in the 1960s. Observes McMacken: Canada enjoyed very low homicide rates during the 1950s and 1960s. However, from 1967 to 1977, the homicide rate nearly doubled from 1.66 per 100,000 to 3.0 per 100,000. This decade of growth in homicide rates followed the 1969 bill “C-150” which created new categories of restricted and prohibited firearms, while granting police the power to “pre-emptively” seize privately owned firearms from persons who were deemed a danger to society by the state…
Paralleling that reality about the failure of “gun control” to decrease violent crime is the fact that gun “control” advocates are incorrect to think that more guns in the hands of civilians leads to more crime.
A CDC study of fifteen states (which was conveniently “disappeared” by the CDC for years until researcher Gary Kleck discovered it) showed that armed civilians use firearms much more often to stop crimes than to engage in them.’
There is much more in both articles, so please feel free to dive in. The second link also includes the first part of a video series I did for MRCTV — a series that debunks the gun-grabber claims.
—VIOLENT CRIME RATES OVER TIME, OZ v US: They ROSE in Australia after gun grabs. In the US, despite massive increases in gun owner numbers, violent crime has decreased. Violent Crime Trends: US rates declined ~50% from 1995 peak (684.5) to ~340 est. in 2025, rebounding briefly in 2020. Australian rates rose ~70% since 1995 (driven by assaults, per ABS/AIC), but absolute levels remain ~1/3 of US.
Here are key, relevant charts comparing Australian violent crime rates per 100K versus US violent crime rates for the same, 100K.

-As Max Blumenthal noted in February LINK: ‘Australia was hit with a suspicious wave of anti-Jewish incidents carried out by “paid actors,” and how an Israeli teen phoned in anonymous threats to Australian Jewish centers… Israeli intel ultimately coerced Canberra to blame Iran…’
-And Mario Nafal notes that Netanyahu already is claiming Iran was behind the Bondi Beach attack, which makes no sense, since prompting people to randomly attack Jews around the world merely bolsters the Zionist supporters’ energy to support Israel. LINK
-WHILE, inside the State Dept, Marco Rubio will be working with a Zionist rabbi to “combat antisemitism” online. Nothing like continuing their fake definition of “antisemitism” and attacking the Bill of Rights. LINK
—THE RHODE ISLAND (BROWN U) SHOOTINGS
The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. in a first-floor classroom lecture hall in the Barus and Holley engineering and physics building on Brown’s Providence campus, during an economics final exam review session. The gunman fired more than 40 rounds of 9mm ammunition from a handgun, killing two students (18-year-old MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an international student from Uzbekistan, and another unidentified victim) and injuring nine others (eight in stable condition, one critical as of December 15). The suspect remains at large, with no gun recovered at the scene but two loaded 30-round magazines seized during the investigation. “Authorities” are using geolocation data, video footage, and public tips in their search. USA Today’s glorious AI notes: ‘The investigation into the Brown University shooting remains active, with law enforcement continuing to review surveillance footage, collect evidence, and seek additional leads. Providence Mayor Brett Smiley noted that releasing the person of interest might cause anxiety but emphasized there is no ongoing credible threat to the community or campus. Authorities have reiterated their commitment to solving the case, processing digital media tips, and supporting victims and their families as the search for the perpetrator continues.’
Meanwhile, let’s look at the Rhode Island and federal “gun regulation” statutes the attacker broke, in addition to the prohibition against murder… Rhode Island law explicitly bans firearms on educational campuses, regardless of permit status or intent:
R.I. Gen. Laws § 11-47-60: Prohibits possession of any firearm (including handguns and rifles) on “school grounds,” defined to include colleges and universities like Brown. Violation is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. This applies even to legal gun owners; the law makes no exceptions for open or concealed carry.
Concealed Carry Restrictions (R.I. Gen. Laws § 11-47-18): Rhode Island requires a “may-issue” permit for concealed carry, which is rarely granted and explicitly invalid on school property. Open carry is also prohibited on campuses.
University-Specific Policy: Brown’s Weapons and Firearms Policy bans all firearms and weapons at university locations, aligning with state law and enforceable via trespassing charges if needed.
By bringing and discharging a loaded 9mm handgun on campus, the shooter committed a clear violation of these statutes. No evidence suggests that the first “person of interest” Benjamin Erickson (a 24-yr-old army vet from Wisconsin) held a valid RI carry permit (unlikely given his out-of-state residency and the blanket campus ban), making possession alone illegal before any shots were fired.
WARSYRIAN KILLINGS OF THREE US MILITARY MEMBERS
-What a shock, US soldiers on the ground with Syrian forces, when there is no declared War, and, another surprise, the alleged killer was trusted by the US to be part of its proxy control system now that the US has helped overthrow Assad. LINK More, from AntiWar: LINK
-One deeper aspect, of course, is the fact that these were National Guard members, who are supposed to be part of the Militia, in their states unless called up for War or asked by another state to be led into that latter to protect against violence or insurrection (per Article 4 Section 4 of the Constitution). LINK And, Antiwar on it. LINK

-And the Trumpers want to move harder in Syria, as the “we’re fighting ISIS” narrative builds in the US and in Australia. LINK
UKRAINE
-The EU creeps closer to stealing Russian assets held at Euroclear bank in Brussels (and sending lots of the lucre to Ukraine). LINK RT has key video on this, and here is the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the matter. LINK
-Estonia’s government is trying to cajole the Hungarian government to prohibit the purchase of Russian fuel. LINK
-Slovak PM Fico knows the score, seeing that Ukraine is a black hole absorbing Western money. LINK
-Judge Andrew Napolitano and Ray McGovern offered key thoughts on the ongoing and reckless push by the tops in the EU to try to steal Russian assets and hand them to Ukraine. LINK
-The EU has sanctioned journalist and former Swiss Colonel and Intel Officer, Jacques Baud simply because he offers information about Ukraine’s military strength and positions in the war that the EU does not like to see widely disseminated. Simply jaw-dropping - and similar to Trump “sanctioning” Francesca Albanese and the core team of the International Criminal Court for citing Netanyahu for War Crimes. Similar to the US deporting foreign students for speaking up in favor of peace for Palestine, and similar to the US blocking travel to the states if a potential visitor’s “social media” posts show favor for Palestinian freedom.
