Trigger warning: if you don't like hearing about scabs...Lauren's childhood story might not be for you. The girls are recording late so a lot of slap happy giggles and terrifying childhood trauma comes out (in a funny way.) Also - Dr. Pepper Dark Berry is great.

It's the beginning of a new show! Bridget knows it's supposed to be sad, but isn't feeling it yet - but has theories. Lauren is loving all the classical music and her best boi. Were you in band? Prepare for flashbacks.

We wrap our thoughts on Fooly Cooly (and get the definition of the slang term) and discuss whether we enjoyed the show or not. Bridget gets some news that upsets her about The Legend of Korra. The Pillows are a great band.

Apologies for the weird audio errors the past week! It's now corrected. Bridget and Lauren talk about the last 3 episodes of Fooly Cooly, the music, the animation style choices (and the wide variety of them in episode 5) and that, maybe this show doesn't stand the test of time.

Next week we start our Patreon exclusive Naruto watch! This week we discuss puberty, uteri, and how this show is a little offbeat but definitely made for teenagers experience big feelings and coming to age.

We summarize our thoughts, our favorites, and some "thought-provoking" questions on Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood! Bridget struggles with abbreviations and tries to derail Lauren with talks of Dungeons and Dragons.

We also announce a new bonus series covering Naruto exclusive only to our Patreon supporters!

It's the last 3 episodes of Phantom Blood! Lauren has to go to work in 3 hours from us recording this...at 4am. A lot of band references go over our heads (but don't worry - the power of google (and love) help us understand them.) We meet Straightso (we know that's not how you spell it) and then don our alternate personalities, Gayso and Straightso...then Lauren's computer has enough of our antics and shuts down.

Next week we summarize our thoughts on the season, answer some questions, and roll the d20 for a new show!
