Midge Noble is an online resiliency coach, podcaster, author, and speaker. She has published two children’s books, SHEBA, Home Is Where Your Heart Is, and ICE CUBE AWARD, Learning To Be Cool Under Pressure. Her memoir, Gay with God, Reclaiming My Faith, Honoring My Story has just been released! Her podcast, GAY with GOD! can be found wherever you stream your podcasts.
Midge specializes in helping her LGBTQIA+ community in their coming out and faith journeys. Her main focus is to stop gay suicides by educating people wounded by the church that they can be in relationship with the God of their understanding and that God does and has always loved us, just as we are created to be. To that end, Midge is very involved in her parish, The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Midge and her wife, along with their fur babies, enjoy spending time at their mountain cabin, hiking, and being with their friends.
In this episode, I share a beautiful and provocative sermons by Lauren Kay entitled "Who Are the Least of These?" I am called to love, to love my enemies, to be what Jesus taught me to be...and yet...I fall short of that mark more and more as this political and national crisis is heating back up again during this election year. Lauren's sermon reminded me of what I am called to be and do and I believe it will resinate with you. Be LOVE and still fight the fight.

In this episode, I share one of my sermons with you, called Burning in our Hearts. In our walk with the God of our understanding, we are faced with difficult calls, choices, voices from our families, friends, and society. Sometimes we are faced with ridicule, hatred, and loss of family and friends because we are LGBTQIA+ and/ or going back to church. In this episode, you will find we are not alone with all the questions and uncertainties as followers of Christ.

In this episode, I talk about voices in our world today. Whose voices are we hearing? Whose voices need to be heard? Are we using our voices for justice, love, equity and equality? Will our voices be loud enough to be heard when it counts? If angry voices are louder, how can we, as a community get our voices heard? Listen for this important episode and decide, what will you do with your voice?

In this episode, I explore how the greatest message that Jesus ever gave and we refer to as, The Beatitudes, is a call to challenge our walk through this divisively political time in our lives. Who are we called to be? What does that have to do with being a Republican, Democrat, or Independent? How do we bring our rebel Jesus to the polls, in our daily walk and in our every day lives?
For more GREAT information on the Beatitudes, check out the podcast, The BibleProject Podcast
