1. Gaza ceasefire deal collapses

Mere days after Hamas and Israel entered a ceasefire to halt the violence coming out of Gaza, terror cells fired a fresh barrage of rockets from the strip into Israeli territory, bringing that deal crashing down. Most of the rockets landed in open fields, though Israel’s iron dome defense system intercepted at least three, no casualties or damage have been reported at this time.

   A Syrian war monitor is reporting that thousands of Iranian and Hezbollah fighters are actually preparing to withdraw from Southern Syria backing away from the Israeli border. After months of lobbying, many believe that Israel has just signed a secret deal with Russia to make this withdrawal happen.

   Israel’s wheelchair tennis team just competed at the B-N-P Paribas world team cup in the Netherland over the weekend. The duo knocked out Japan, South Korea and the United States on their way to the top, but in the end, they just barely missed out on the gold and got knocked out by Australia in the semi-final round.
