Geek Fanthology

We present for your listening pleasure an episode on Crowdfunding. Patreon (by the way check out our patreon), Kickstarter, gofundme, etc. Our experiences with it, both good and bad. Also Geek News and the Spoiler of the Week.

From time to time we like to just talk about what we’ve been watching/reading/listening to/playing/etc. and this episode we did just that. This is your chance to find out just how weird and varied our tastes are, and how closely they align with your own…

A reflection on the rise and fall of Parody Movies. With it's Golden Age in the mid to late 80s all the way to The Asylum. Enjoy!

SKREEONK!!!

We couldn’t all get together for an episode this week so Neil’s at it again with another top 10 episode. This time he’s talking about his ratings for the top 10 enemies that Godzilla fought in the Showa Era (the first 15 movies for those of you who don’t know). He’s doing this before re-watching all of the movies for our upcoming 2 part episode on those same Godzilla movies for October. He’ll release a smaller update at some point after that to see how his opinions have changed from Nostalgia.

Greetings True Believers (RIP Stan)

So we recently saw Spiderman: Far From Home (which is great btw you should totally go see it) but we thought instead of hearing us gush for an hour and a half over a movie all of us were going to love anyway we’d actually try to entertain you. So instead of a review for the new Spiderman Movie (seriously it’s great) we will instead prognosticate on what will be the next big Myth Arc for the MCU. Everything so far was building to infinity war so what’s the next big comics crossover event we’re gonna see? Listen to the Episode for our predictions.

(CAUTION: CONTAINS UNFLAGGED SPIDERMAN SPOILERS!!!)

Hello Diamond City…. uuhhhh I guess….

With Mike unavailable Ben and Neil return to the post apocalypse to talk Fallout 4. The most recent Fallout game to have come out of Bethesda studios.

*someone from off camera* “But what about 76?”

The. Most. Recent.

We also cover an interesting little story about G2A and Piracy.

Enjoy!

Welcome to the Revolution, The Dystopia, The Web, The Shadows! Given how hype we are for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 and how much it blew up at e3. We thought we’d take some time to talk about the Genre that it is part of, Welcome to the world of Cyberpunk.

Ladies and Gentlemen! (always nice the classics are something thematically apropriate)

We present for your listening pleasure a compilation of Neil’s top 10 favorite plays written by William Shakespeare, as well as a tiny excerpt from each. We realize that this episode is late and we apologize for that there’s an explaination of why in the episode proper.

We talked a while back about con etiquette it was a good episode. Visioncon 2019 was just 2 weeks ago whcih got us talking about our experiences at various conventions. Our observations from multiple points of view within the con community and also we thought we’d highlight some pretty awesome cons you should try to visit.
