Geek Out! with Mainframe

Episode 17 is the first half of my interview with J. Daniel Sawyer.  If Dan doesn't know something about media creation, it probably isn't worth knowing. ... O.K. that may be an exaggeration, but probably not by as much as one might think.  His original full cast audio novel "Down From Ten" left me guessing until the very end (in the good kind of way).  If you don't know Dan, get going and listen to the interview.  If you do know about him, you probably haven't read this far without listening to the interview first anyway :)You can find all things J. Episode 16 is the second half of my interview with writer, novelist, podcaster, and really nice human being Arlene Radasky. She is the author of the historical fiction (with a little fantasy added in for good measure) novel "The Fox". "The Fox" was inspired by the archaeological find know as "Lindow Man" (Wikipedia article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindow_Man), so the book appeals to the science & history geek in me as well as its being a well done story. Episode 13 is my interview with writer/podcaster Paul Elard Cooley.  We talk horror, psychological trillers, ice cream trucks, and why stuffed animals are kinda creepy.  Fans of Paul know how entertaining he can be, and if you aren't one yet, prepare to be. :) Paul is beginning the pre-order for his "Fiends: Volume 1" collection on Valetines Day.  It's a limited special edition of some his most popular stories with bonus material that will not be available in any other print versions of the book. This is a "re-broadcast" of an interview that Jack Hosley aka WanderWolf (@WNDRWolf on Twitter ) aired on his podcast "Wander Radio" episode "I-19 Round Table Discussion with Odin1eye and Richard Green (aka Mainframe)", posted January 14, 2011.

Original show notes can be found at http://www.wanderradio.com/blog/2011/01/14/i-19-round-table-discussion-with-odin1eye-and-richard-green-aka-mainframe/

Jack is an experienced podcaster whose "Wander Radio" is a blend of music, interviews, and whatever else he feels like at the time. ;)  You can find info on WNDRWolf and "Wander Radio" at http://www.wanderradio.com/

Odin1Eye (@Odin1Eye on Twitter) has the wonderful "View From Valhalla" blog at http://www.viewfromvalhalla.com/ .  It is notable for it's exceptional reviews of completed podcast novels.  These reviews have been faithfully posted each Monday for over a year.  If you want a great starting place for finding quality free podcast novels - or if you are a longtime podcast novel fan - you will find his blog a great site to check out, and come back to regularly.

This interview is also the first time I have been an interviewee, so it was a special treat for me too.

I hope you enjoy.
