Time to break free of the dystopian future in this weeks revival of a classic: Blade Runner.  From the constant rain, deadly replicants, to the consant noir, Will and Ryan talk about the good, the bad, and the “why did he just do that” in this classic Ridley Scott film.  This episode also features a special interview with Edward James Olmos, where he masterfully connects Battlestar Galactica and Blade Runner, drawing uncanny connections between the two.

Red vs. Blue.  Civil liberty vs. security.  Old vs. young. Captain America vs. Ironman.   Maybe a little Will vs. Ryan?  Lines have been drawn in this weeks episode.  Was this an inevitable battle brewing between two powerhouses?  Whichever side you stand, all win with another great addition to Marvel’s film collection.  On this’s week’s episode, the guys review Captain America: Civil War.
To start off the show, the Will and Ryan discussed a little politics, as the presidential election continues to roll forward.  They also discussed this week’s Game of Thrones episode, and Jon Snow’s mic drop moment.  Ryan also went into  a bit of airing of grievance over spoilers, and the ever growing controversy of spoiling something.
What do you think about spoilers?  How long is the window before it’s okay to talk about something on social media?
During the show, Ryan asked Will why he loves Superman so much.  Look out later this week for a full breakdown of why Will loves Superman so much.

On this week’s episode, the guys debut a new show theme “Directors We Salute”, honoring Quentin Tarantino.  From the Reservoir Dogs to Inglorious Bastards to Pulp Fiction, the guys dive in to all there is to love about the director.  Tarantino has a unique style and vision, and it is seen with each piece of work.  The dialog and the storytelling are what sets this director apart…and with great pleasure, Will and Ryan salute the very entertaining Quentin Tarantino.
To open the show, Will dives into a story about starting a business and the wave of scams that followed.  He recently received an email and has serious question to the validity of the sender.  This leads down a path of discussion around how million dollar robbery is no longer taking place at the bank, but taking place in the digital world.

There are a lot of great movies coming out over the next three months, and the guys preview the best, the okay, and the straight up ugly.  This is our Upcoming Film Preview for quarter two of 2016.  From super hero to super comedy, there are some great films to check out.  We give you a breakdown of what to see, and what to wait to rent down the road.
To start off the show, the guys discussed the many joys from the week revolving around Star Wars.  This past week saw the Blu-ray release of Star Wars and the trailer release of Rogue One.  The guys start to theorize about all the possibilities in Rogue One, but mostly just geek out over another great Star Wars film on the horizon.
In a possible regular segment, Will gave another funny Uber Story from this past weekend.
The Hypothetical Question of the week:  If you could go back in time, what time would you go to, what movie would you see, and what keepsake/souvenir (it can be anything) would you bring back?
So let us know what you think of the upcoming films this year.  There are definitely many to be excited about.  Get into conversation at Facebook.com/GeekRevolutionRadio
